Chereads / Third Prince's Special Parrot / Chapter 2 - An Unknown Place

Chapter 2 - An Unknown Place

The more time passed, she could feel her heart beat speeding up and someone's hand had touched her face, which made her entire body flinch.

Of course, she had violently shook her head to get the person from getting her to open her mouth, even by little bit, but that only made the person use more force, and her jaw was opened slightly, yet it was enough for a cloth to be slipped between her teeth and then tied at the back of her head.

"Alright, get me the syringe and scalpel."

The male voice was the only voice she could here in the room, but he was talking to other people, so there could be one, or even more standing around her. And the heart beat that was steadily increasing, had skyrocketed when she heard him call for a syringe and scalpel.

In a sudden panic, she struggled to at least get one of her arm loose, but the people didn't allow any of that to happen, even if the chances were slim, and held her arms and legs down.

"Alright guys, lets get this over with quickly."

Just as those words were said, a thin and ice cold needle pierced her skin and a pressure that spread all throughout her body as if she was meters and meters underwater.

After the effects of the syringe were shown and successful, the old and ragged clothes she was wearing was cut down the middle, and a slight pain in her stomach yet she couldn't determine what it was.

Like her brain, thoughts, and the feelings in her skin and hands weren't working like they should. She knew it was something bad or painful, yet all she felt was a tingling sensation but the pressure all over her body and the pumping of her heart, was something that made her afraid.

As time passed and an internal clock ticked away at itself, her entire body felt like it was slowing down and her body was empty, and blood that was splattered every, or what she imagined it to be.

In a matter of time, her body got colder and colder, until she felt like she and her bones had lost all the heat that it had and her consciousness slowly faded away; she was between alive and dead, until her life had completely disappeared and her body fell limp and unresisting to anything.

'Where am I....?'

Xingfu still couldn't move, yet it was somehow incredibly comfortable wherever this place was. She really felt like her entire body was enveloped in a warm blanket, and her mind faded in and out of consciousness.

For a long time, along with her fading sometimes, she wouldn't be able to recall what she had done, the previous time she awoke, but it didn't really matter since everyday was the same.

Although every now and then, the entire space around her, along with herself, was turned and rolled, which made her slide to the ground of whatever she was in.

Despite the coziness of the space she was inside of, it got incredibly cramped the more time passed. To the point that she could here some sort of cracks form near the top of the room.

Wait a minute.....

'The room is breaking?!?!?'

In the spur of the moment, she moved around and struggled in the cramped space, which made the crack in the wall, turn into a spiderweb-like design that spread all across the room, and sweeps of fresh air entered the space through the small breaks all over the wall.

After a few minutes of breathing in the refreshing clear air, she steeled herself to try and break the rest of the wall that surrounded her.

Fortunately enough, the spider web of fractures all around her, had made the wall easy to break with a single touch.

Regardless, she had broken out of the room that she was stuck in, but she still couldn't see a thing. Her sight definitely turned from a continuous pitch black, to a blinding, pinkish white, but that was it.

Xingfu had a sneaking suspicion, that her eyes were closed, even if she didn't voluntarily close them.

Many different sounds of rustling leaves and the chirps of birds, insects, and rushing waters clamoring around her. Among them, snapping and twigs or sticks getting moved around. And it was pretty much right next to her!

She didn't dare to make any more moves, in case she was in any sort of danger. However, the thought of danger completely vanished from her mind, when her head was nudged by a warm head covered in feathers.

Xingfu didn't know how, but she felt as if the creature beside her was something warm and gentle towards her.

Just as she was relaxing, a loud sound of tweets and shrieks headed in her direction, before the ground underneath her had immediately tilted to one side before returning to normal and her head had, out of reflex, opened her mouth while making hundreds of high pitched chirping sounds.

Out of no where, some kind of small thing with a shell had been dropped into her mouth, but she stopped chirping while trying to eat whatever the creature had put into her mouth. Although..... it felt more like the beak of a bird than a human mouth.

Well, whatever she had just eaten, it didn't taste very bad, but it was too good either. Then again, she would mostly eat anything edible back when she was starving all the time. So, most things would probably seem edible to her.

Unfortunately, her sense of time was slightly off since she couldn't see most of the time, however, it seems her sight was getting better and she could open her eyes slightly more as time passed on. About five or seven days.

Soon, the eighth day that arrived, and her eyes could completely see everything around her! From lush and beautifully lime green trees and clear, untainted waters, with glowing and brightly vivid colored flying through the skies filled with fluffy clouds!

Other than the gorgeous surroundings, right behind her, two large and brightly colored birds both in red and rainbow colored wings!
