Despite how she looked and sounded, as if she were infuriated, her true feelings were actually that of being amused and entertained!
Her previous irritation had disappeared when she saw the annoying little thing back down. It later turned into her just having fun with messing with the little guy.
She rarely ever felt this amused by something. Her shrieks got louder and louder, until the tiny birb was straining it's neck to look up at her and not even daring to move an inch.
A few seconds after, she felt a little sorry for the little guy, and decided to just do one more tease before leaving the little birdy alone.
Jumping up and off the branch slightly before grabbing back onto it and using her wings to make a large gust of wind, an unexpected outcome happened…. One that made her feel quite guilty....
The little bird had flinched upon her abruptly jumping towards him, and combined with the large rush of wind and the branch wobbling, the little guy's feet had accidently let go of the branch! As the bird fell, its back faced the ground, and he was too stunned to comprehend how to fly again!
The bird continued falling and hit a few branches on the way down, but just before the tiny bird hit the floor, a large black shadow zipped past and grabbed the bird's body while leaving just as quickly!
Looking down, at what had just happened, her guilt was overwhelmed and buried by the feeling of terror when thinking about what would happen if she were to even get close to the ground! Other than a few feathers, there was no trace of the bird or even tracks left!
'This..... I'd better go.... I was never here!!!'
She stopped clinging to the branch and pumped her wings to take off to a high enough altitude to safely glide most of the time.
Even though her guilty conscience of being the cause of the little bird's death was prodding at her, when compared to how she had just watched on as some of her friends got taken away in her past life, causing a random bird's death was nothing! At least that's what she told herself...
Drifting along the wind, she was thinking trivial thoughts, and soon became pretty absent minded, as there were no other birds around and the flurries of wind kept her steadily in the air. She basically had nothing to worry about, so being absent minded wasn't anything that would have any consequences.
Then, the loud loud growling from her stomach snapped her out of her daze, and she decided just to head back to the nest, and wait for her parents to get back with food.

"Gaahhh!!! I'm starving here!!!!"
It had been at least an hour after she sat back into the nest and waited. Yet, her parents were no where to be seen! Now, all she could do was roll around and try to keep her hunger down, yet it would not be enough.
Her mind set had already gotten used to being fed when she was hungry, or even when she wasn't hungry in the slightest!
However, as more time passed by, she strayed further and further away, hanging upside down from branches and swinging herself back and forth by her beak, and all in all getting her mind off the topic of food. But she had also unconsciously looked around to spot anything edible as well.

Just as she was swinging around, at the corner of her eye, just for a split second, there was a beautifully shiny red fruit looking thing! Out of surprise, she had to look twice, and it was still there! How did she miss such a vibrant fruit! It resembled that of an apple, yet much more appealing!
Her stomach kept growling, and she quickly fluttered over to the fruit, while gently landing onto the tree's branches. And upon a closer look, there were many more red fruit just like the one in front of her!
As she stared with her mouth agape, she felt like she was drooling at the sight of these tempting fruit. They all gave off a mild sweet smell as well.
Moving her beak closer and taking the first bite, it was so incredibly sweet~!!!
Such a delicious thing, she couldn't help but gobble the rest of that fruit.
Although she had eaten the entire fruit, she was still hungry for more, and hopped over to the second fruit before devouring that too.
[Host has consumed 'Yiqun Fruit' containing high levels of Qi. Absorbing Qi into the Host's body.]
"Huh..?"
She wasn't expecting for the system to say anything for quite a while, and was pretty surprised too.
'This fruit has Qi in it?'
[All living and non-living things around, including the Host, contains Qi. Although everything appears normal, as the entire internal section of the forest is highly dense in Qi, everything is at least twenty times stronger and more durable than it would usually be, if not more.]
"Really...? Woah..."
She looked at the other fruit hanging around by a thing stem. Even though they were brighter and shinier, they still resembled apples, and she could bite through them easily..... But when thinking on the idea that the fruit were at least twenty times harder to bite through than normal.....
It was almost unbelievable!!
Even the trees. she could snap the twigs and branches with relative ease. One would never have guessed that it was at the very least, harder than rock!
However, she decided to skip the subject and think about it another time. Right now, she should be eating these mouthwatering fruit!
