Keren's Point of View
Andito kami ngayon sa room ni Franz. I still really can't imagine that she's sick and she didn't bother telling it to me.
Nagkausap na kami ni Tita Pauline—Franz's Mom—kanina and she told me everything.
The reason why Franz was absent for a long time is because she's taking therapy. A Radiotherapy that helps or treats a patient having this kind of disease so that the cancer will be able to shrink.
It was a month ago when they knew that Franz positively has a brain tumor. But Franz doesn't want anyone, including me, to know it.
"She just don't want you all to worried about her."
That what the exact sentence Tita said when we talked. I get her point, but she can still tell us. Because as her friend I want to know how is she, like what is her current situation. It will make me more worried when something wrong happens and the fact that I don't know what she's been doing and then that happen. I would definitely blame myself!
After that talk Tita excused herself out of the room. She will be going first and will be back at the afternoon. I know she's a busy woman and I can see that she's doing this to make money for Franz's treatment.
"I will be leaving. I'll just send Juliana to take care of her." Tita Pauline said and looked at me. "You should take a rest for a while, hija." then she looked at Khyle. "Thank you, both of you." after that she left us.
The room was so quiet that the only thing we hear is the beeping sound of the machine that measures her hearth rate is the only thing we hear.
"Why didn't you bother telling me about your situation? Why did you hide it from me, Franz." Alam ko naman na kahit pa hindi siya gising ay naririnig niya ang sinasabi ko.
"Keren?" I looked at the person behind me, it was Khyle.
I just raised my eyebrows but not that I look like I'm maarte or so what. Yung tipong nagtataka lang, ganun.
"Let's go eat dinner. I have something to tell to you." he said and I was more confused. Something to tell me?
"Walang magbabantay kay Franz." I said and the the door opened.
"Ah, Miss Keren, ako na po ang magbabantay kay Miss Franz." nakangiting sambit ni Ate Juliana, kasambahay nila Franz.
Tumayo na lang naman na ako at inalalayan ako ni Khyle. Nagpaalam muna ako kay Franz at nangakong babalik. Umalis kami ng kwartong iyon at agad na nagtungo sa Parking Lot.
Khyle's Point of View
This is it! Get yourself together, Khyle. Kayang kaya mo 'yan. Whooooo!
Inistart ko na ang engine ng kotse ko at nagmaneho na papunta sa bahay namin sa TayTay. Kung saan kami nuon dati nakatira.
Pasimple kong nilingon si Keren at kita ko ang pasimpleng pagpikit ng mata niya tapos biglang didilat.
Di ko na napigilan ang sarili kong matawa ng bahagya. Kita ko naman ang agarang paglingon niya sa akin.
"W-What are you laughing at?" she asked innocently.
Umayos naman ako ng upo at pinipigilan pa rin ang sariling tumawa ng malakas.
"It's nothing." I answered and cleared my throat.
Gamit ang peripheral view ko ay kita ko ang pag-ayos niya ng upo sabay crossed arms at tingin sa bintana.
"You can take a nap. Medyo malayo pa naman ng konti ang pupuntahan natin." I said and saw her looked at me.
"Saan ba tayo pupunta? I thought we would have dinner?" she asked but I just smiled. Even though I'm not seeing her full face, I can say she's cute and beautiful.
'Damn! She's literally driving me crazy as fvck!'
"Just take a nap. I'll just wake you up when we get there." I said and smiling drove off.
After a long ride, we now arrived at our place. I unbuckle my seatbelt and turn to look at her. She's beautifully sleeping. She's so adorable and damn! I just can't take my eyes of her.
'How I wish I could kiss those lips of hers—Fvck! Now I'm really crazy!'
Inuga ko siya ng marahan para magising siya, kahit pa ayaw ko pa syang gisingin. She needs to eat.
"H-Hmmm.."
Natawa ako bahagya sa inakto niya. Inuga ko siyang muli ng bahagya at matapos iyon ay naidilat na niya ang mata niya.
"We're now here." I mumbled and open the door of my car and went out to the other side. I open the door and she is still fixing herself up.
'Kyeopta...'
She looked at me and smiled and I think that was the best smile I ever see in my whole life that I wouldn't dare to forget.
"Let's go," I said and helped her get out of the car and guide her inside the house.
As we enter as expected the place turn out to be as it's best. Mom really is good in designing stuff. I smiled at the thought. She really is the best.
I looked at Keren and saw amazement drawn to her face.
"W-Wow.."
We walked until we reached at the backyard where table and dinner are all set up.
Nakita ko kung paano tinakpan ni Keren ang bibig niya gamit ang kaniyang kamay. She looked at me and I just smile, revealing my dimples.
We walked together near to the table. I guide her to her seat and then after went to the other side.
"Khyle.. what is this place?" she asked and I just smile. I think I cannot stop myself anymore from smiling and smiling.
"This place.. is the place where I confess my feelings for you back then." I said and I saw how her emotions change. Now I can see her face.. confused.
"W-What are you talking about?" she asked but I just smile.
"Let's just eat first." I said and called out our chef.
