"What does Auden have to do with this?" She wondered. She drove off in a hurry. She was angry. Tired of things not working out. She decided that she needed to get me(Kai), before I woke up. She was tired of things not going her way, and she decided that she needed me for her plans.
So, she headed towards the hospital. She thought it would be too risky, but she decided to do it anyways.
Meanwhile, Mr. Beal and Malcolm had been looking at a shipment of drugs. "So do you know where they came from? All these drugs, they must be too a wealthy buyer. Their very expensive and rare." Mr. Beal said.
"All I know is that they came from somewhere in Korea. I don't know who it's from or who it's going too." Malcolm exclaimed.
"Aren't you worried you might get in trouble for sneaking around here? I'm sure the person who bought all of this would be very angry to see you here."
"Of course I'm not worried. I'll face them head on without flinching." Malcolm smirked.
"Cocky much?"
"You're talking. You practically risked your life for an employee you barely know."
"You did the same. You hardly knew Kai and yet you were willing to jump in front of a man with a gun for him. You are no ordinary doctor, Malcolm." Mr. Beal said.
"Speaking of which, where'd you get that scar on your neck?" He asked.
"I liked to experiment with things as a kid. Let's just say I didn't make some measly volcano for my science projects."
"Now you definitely sound like a mad scientist." Mr. Beal smiled.
Then as Malcolm was about to say something, his phone rang. It was Doctor Sanders from the hospital.
"What is it?" He asked in a harsh voice.
"Kai Everson is missing! No one knows where he is he just disappeared!" She yelled. With that he hung up.
"Kai is missing." He said in a firm voice. They started to run back to the van. Once they got in they raced to the hospital. Quinn was there.
"Where have you been?! I thought you were kidnapped?!" They explained.
"I'm sorry. I'll explain later, but right now, we have to find Kai. Have you seen him?"
"No, I haven't."
"Well, we need to find him." Mr. Beal walked past Quinn in a hurry.
When Quinn turned around Ms. Bailey was standing in front of them. "H-hey. What are you doing here?" They said in surprise as they tried to hide the fear.
"I heard Kai was missing. I wanted to help look for him." She exclaimed.
But Quinn knew she was lying. "Oh, well you don't need to-"
"I'll be off then! See ya later. I'll tell you if I find him!" She interrupted. She wore her fake smile on her face. Then she left.
Quinn didn't know what to do. They we're so nervous. They tried to keep hope that I would be okay.
Mr. Beal decided to go to his office. But, he needed a way to get there. "Quinn, will you drop me off at my place?" He walked up to Quinn.
"Of course I will! But, why do you want me to do that? We need to look for Kai."
"I need to use my car."
"Okay." Quinn took Mr. Beal to his house.
"Thanks, I'll see you later." He said as he got out of the car.
"Alright, be careful! Love ya John." They drove off.
Mr. Beal grabbed his keys and went to the office. He rushed upstairs and ran down the hall that lead to his office.
He had a feeling that there was something in there that he could use to find me. But when he opened the door, there I was. In the middle of the floor laying down. I was curled up into a ball.
I was surrounded by the green glow. It burned like hell fire. My eyes were glowing green and dripping with tears.
He quickly locked the door and came over to me. He didn't know what to do. He was in shock but he knew he needed to do something. "Kai?!" He yelled.
