"L-let me down!"
He lets me down and I sigh in relief.
"Hello, Ms. Maid, what were you doing on that tree?" the Flame Knight, Justin asks with a smile so big that I was sure it was fake.
Caught red handed!
"I, uh- was stuck..."
Justin laughs, "Wow! That's amazing! How do you get stuck on a tree?"
"Justin! That's rude!" Dylan scolds him.
"Oh! They're on the move!" I say suddenly as I spy Trisha and Ryan walking.
Dylan peers over at me, "So you are spying on them…"
I glance away, "Eh-heh…"
We followed them a couple meters away, especially because there were crowds surrounding both our group and theirs. Man, these knights are quite popular. What a pain! I spy cake and I start craving for it. I walk towards it, drooling.
The waitress asked, "How may I help you?"
"I want this cake, to go please!"
"That would be five metails."
I frown and the three Knights follow up behind me.
"Do you not have money?" Dylan asks.
I frown more, "I forgot…"
Justin laughs and hands the waitress the money, "Here you go, I'll buy it for you."
The waitress looks shocked and blushes. People started crowding around even more, and I could hear them…
"Aww! I want the knights to buy me cake!"
"They're so dreamy!"
"Ew! Who's that girl? She's so ugly!"
"Yeah! She doesn't deserve to be with the knights!"
I ignore them and look at where Ryan and Trisha are. They stare back… Uh-oh. Ryan looks pissed, and I think Trisha found out that I'm me and not some random person… We failed big time.
"Hey! Dylan, Justin, Kyle, what are you doing here?" Ryan angrily says.
Justin was first to respond, "Well… we were wandering the market…"
Ryan doesn't buy the lie and becomes more irate, "You were what?"
On the contrary, Trisha runs towards me, seeming quite happy to see me.
"Aurora! What are you doing here?"
She hugs me tightly. It must've been awkward and weird when it was only her and Ryan.
She whispers in my ear, "I can't believe that I'm the lucky girl; I'm so happy!"
I smile, "That's great!"
Then she looks at my face and frowns, "Why did you put on makeup? Your natural face looks so much prettier!"
She quickly drags me to the side and cleans my face.
I wipe off my makeup and take a deep breath. It's so much more comfortable without the makeup.
"Ah-"
I turn and see the knights. They stare back at me. I turn away uncomfortably and give Trisha the towel back. Is there something weird on my face or something?
Then I hear Justin whisper to Ryan, "That's what you call 'cutie'."
I pretend to not hear that comment and turn to Trisha. She pulls me aside.
"Omg, Aurora I can't believe that the lucky girl is me! I'm so happy!"
I smile, "You're so lucky! Since this is a special day, don't worry about me and go have fun!"
"Ah- but I still have chores…"
I smile mischievously, "What do you have left?"
"Uh- laundry, shopping, and cooking…"
I quickly turn around and face the knights.
"Excuse me, Trisha has some chores that she -"
Trisha covers my mouth and whispers in my ear, "What. Are. You. Doing."
I take her hand off and respond, "It'll be fine…"
I turn back around to see Kyle In. My. Face. I lean away. Haven't you heard of personal space?
"Do you want us to help with the chores?" he speaks, quietly.
"Ah!" Justin screams all of a sudden, "Kyle spoke!"
"Wait really?" Dylan quickly responds.
Trisha and I are the only ones that were left in the dark of 'what's great about Kyle speaking.'
After a chaotic five minutes of them getting Kyle to speak again, they quiet down and I realize that Kyle hasn't spoken at all before: in the meeting room, nope, in the halls, nope, when he picked me up from the tree?, nope…
I sigh and speak up again, "So, Trisha has some more chores to do… can you please help out?"
Ryan looks terrified, "Chores? You mean laundry and stuff?"
"Yes, chores, laundry and stuff."
Justin starts running, "I'm outta here…" but he gets caught by Dylan.
"It's rude to leave our guests alone to do chores."
