Salem elected to let them wash him. "Sure. You can wash me, but don't go too far."
Alina was the first to react. Grabbing a bar of soap, she lathered it and proceeded to wash down Salem's front.
Ruby, not to be outdone, began on Salem's back before realizing she was at an advantage to do his head.
Taking his chin in her hands, she gently put his head in the water up to his face and began washing his scalp.
Running her hands over the marred skin she marveled once more at the fact that he survived.
Alina was the first to quest downwards, although she checked with Salem first with Ruby following close behind.
As Ruby and Alina marveled at his body, Salem was checking his status board.

As Salem looked at the status board, Alina noticed what he was doing. "Are we making you uncomfortable enough for you to check out your status board?" She teased.
"It seemed like a good time to check it since we're leaving after this." Salem replied.
"Fair enough." Ruby said, knowing it was relatively difficult to focus on two things at once. "You should check your comprehension too." She said, pulling him into her lap and hugging him from behind.
So he did.

"My Nanomancer class is at 92%, and my Necromancer class is at 95%" He said.
Alina wasn't shocked, but Ruby was.
"How is your comprehension so high?" She asked, astounded.
A thought occured to Alina. "Does it have to do with the dimension you want to go to?"
"Yes. You know how I had no memory of this world?" He asked the two of them.
They both nodded.
"I died in a different world and woke up here with only memories from my previous world, in this burnt husk of a body."
"Oh don't say that!" Ruby exclaimed. "You're not a husk. You're a fully fleshed person."
Salem rased his brow. "As opposed to a partially fleshed person?"
Alina giggled as Ruby tried to explain what she meant.
Smiling slightly he explained it was a joke.
"In my previous life, I was a college student who had finished four doctorates." Sensing their impending questions, he answered them before they asked. "A college is an institution of higher learning. It's where I learned theoretical physics, nanotechnology, mechanical engineering, and computer science. Nanotechnology is the study of nanobots, computer science is science behind computers. for example: binary code-a language entirely composed of ones and zeros-and mechanical engineering is what I use as a basis to design things such as Ghost. I entered college at eight and I died at 12."
"And what's a doctorate?" Alina asked.
"The highest degree one can get. The lowest is an associate's followed by a bachelor's then a master's then a doctorate."
"You didn't study necromancy?" Ruby asked.
"No, I was an avid reader. I really liked to read fantasy when I had time. Necromancy in my world has loads of different depictions." Salem then began describing different novels he had read that outlined necromancy.
"So your world didn't have necromancy?" Ruby asked.
"My world didn't have magic at all." Salem replied. "I am lucky I was an avid reader, or I would have chosen mechanic."
After they finished the other world conversation, Salem hit them with another bombshell.
"Also, I'm not human."
