Chapter 19 - Oath

"I'll pick it up..." Rail leaned down and pulled up the black haired demon head as she twisted it in her fingers. "Well, tell us where your soul disk is and we'll think about attaching you back to your body."

"Can I suggest something?" Waist said as she walked over and examined the head. "Before we go anywhere with that demon... Why don't we talk about how we can benefit each other... I noticed Mace behind you only used one ability in ..."

"It won't hurt. However, , get out of the way of the television..."

"You have different anime here..." Carl said as he crossed his arms. "This means I have more shows to watch..."

"Ugh, fine... I'll go first." Waist pointed at as he stared at the television... "Ant Life can help train you to get faster..."

"There is no cost in telling her," Rail said as she jumped on Haze's lap as he looked back at his broken kitchen. "Mace has a skill called . It boots all stats related to the body... Except for Charisma... It also gives attribute points."

"What do I need to do to use it? Carl, stop watching television."

"This show Burn that Witch is good," Carl said as he shook his head,. "You really expect me to train him without a kiss?"

"Stop hitting on the person who created you!" Mortality complained as the fuses on his body started to grow back. "She's not supposed to have to make out with you to use your ability."

"Have you done that?" Haze gulped and looked at Waist and couldn't help but scan her body. "Did you? Did you kiss him?"

"I barely rub his hair if he does something good... Carl, do it..."

"Fine, but consider this in preparation for me watching three episodes..." Carl walked over to Haze and patted him on the shoulder. His body started to glow yellow before Ant Life turned around and went back to sit down.

"There you go... Your speed attribute should've doubled now..."

"Doubled? How is that possible?"

"It's a skill called ... Frankly, it;s definitely worse than training dragon. I don't believe you had the balls to not choose a two path skill..."

"He didn't know what those were at the time..." Rail sighed and rubbed Haze's leg... "Anyways, demon head looks like he's running out of breath... Should we talk to him yet..."

"He's harmless now." Zack said as he picked up the head as it rolled by the couch. "I'll throw it in the trash until he tells us where his disk is!"

"Damn it! Fine, I'll tell you! However, swear an oath on yoru disk that you'll help me with one mission... even after she captures me in her domain..."

"Deal, I'll swear. Haze won't so he can kill you if you try and betray me..." Waist took out her computer and opened up "However, tell us what this mission is first. I want the truth this time..."

"It's a devil... I need help killing a D+ ranked Devil. He killed my girlfriend on the first day i got the disk drive..."

"How much time do you want me to swear to?" Waist opened up her computer and went to the section. She clicked on it and scrolled down before a contract loaded. It had a drop down for type of contract, limit of contract, and the name for two parties. "I'll only swear if you also promise to not try to escape my domain?"

Haze felt so confused and walked over to Waist's computer and looked at her version of

"Wait, why do you have a few windows that I don't have? I can't swear oaths..."

"You can now that you have a guild. Why would you need to swear an oath without a domain... Read the manual please..." Waist looked over at the demon and asked for his information before he told her all of it. She filled it out and prepared ot sign it before Rail picked up the head and pushed opned its eyes.

"Tell me where your disk is.... you have nine seconds before you die..."

"You.... she didn't sign the contract yet! I'll tell you after..."

"I don't like the idea of us having to fight a D+ devil now. Do you know how strong that is compared to us?" Rail looked at Haze. "Father... This is a bad deal right now. If you take it, since [Eternal Fantasy] is in your guild, her oath would require it to show up as one of your guild missions."

"I think we can handle it. All we have to do is lure the devil here..." Lapis rubbed Haze's back. "If we do that, I can jsut seduce him like I did to the two demons..."

"No," Port shook his head and pointed at the door. "Not strong."

"He has a point... The devil might be able to demolish your domain because he's a rank higher than you..." Rail said as she spun the head around one time as she held the demon by the hair. "Tell us where your copy of is or we'll have to create a new god to vet your memories."

"That's true, but... Wait," Waist gently grabbed Rail's hand and pulled her back. "If you kill him, Haze won't be able to visit my world.... You already have an angel..."

"She's upstairs... I forgot about her. Show was more important..." Zack pointed upstairs. "She's probably awake now..."

"I'll... I'll tell me where your drive is, but all I ask is you at least promise to put my head back on my body! I'm running out of time here!"

"Fine, deal..." Waist smiled and grabbed Rail's and Haze's hand. "You have a neat ability, Rail... Mind taking us to where he points on the map?"

"Sure, you mind telling me how those are so large? What did you eat?"

"They are large..." Carl smiled and patted her on the back. "I'm coming too... Zack, record it for me..."

"You're too much like me... We can both watch the recording..." Zack grabbed onto Haze's back... "Let's go..."

"Fine, it's right here! I left it in the forest right here!"
