Chapter 25 - Guild Battle

Haze took a deep breathe as Mortality handed him the combat piercing gloves. He sighed as he got another notification on .

"I'm guessing you have to get out of here." Waist gently grabbed both of his shoulders and pulled him in for a hug. "Thanks for saving me again. Carl, please stop staring at my ass."

"It was a commercial break," Carl said as he tossed Haze a bag of chips. "Zack, remember to record Burn that Witch for Me."

"I really don't want to leave," Zack complained as he pointed at the . "When we get home, I know I'll feel disappointed by Burn that Witch."

"You'll all be back I'm sure when I'm in my new mansion. Make sure to check out the [Angel Life] disk you have, and try not to die."

"He's with us. I'm more worried about you," Rail said as she crossed her arms. "I noticed some blood stains on your carpet? Where you attacked when we weren't here?"

"You mention that now! We're out of time," Haze grabbed his head with a scared expression as he looked into Waist's eyes. "Just send me a message in and I'll come here if you need help."

"I'm a big girl. I can protect myself," Waist smiled as Haze clicked on and pressed . "Remember to try and recruit [Joke Land]. I already messaged her and she's desperate to be recruited..."

"I'l take care of it in a few hours... Zack, he's recording the show for you..."

"It's a real shame. We'd make so much money if we could have both shows play in both worlds..." Zack fixed his tie before Haze activated. He appeared back in his room with Calli waiting on the bed. She was crying as he turned to look at her.

"I told you she needed attention," Rail sighed and snap her fingers. "Be right back... Going to order us some food..."

"Fried Chicken," Port said with a smile as he followed after Rail towards the kitchen! "Order it!"

"You-you finally here Haze?" Calli said as she crawled off the bed towards Haze in her red dress that had been partially torn, "I need your opinion on something.... Would you let me talk to you alone?"

"I'm going to go downstairs too!" Lapis smiled as she pat Haze on the shoulders, "She just needs a few minutes of your time to increase her bond to you... Once she's a little more bonded with you, she can be left alone."

"A bond? What is she a pet?" Haze walked over to Calli and offered her his hand. "Stand up, please. I need your opinion on something."

"You-you... you finally saw me?" Calli gently got pulled up by Haze and walked over to his computer. "Wow, this is what it's like to be accepted by the hands of your owner."

"I'm going to be watching Burn that Witch," Zack sat down next to Haze's chair and turned on the television with a smile on his face. "I'll be quiet."

"You-you... you are something else," Haze spun in his chair and looked down at the on his desk. "Waxing... you can change back to your normal form.... No need to be silent."

"I thought that's what you'd want," Waxing transformed back into her normal form and crossed her long legs on her dress. She fixed her white skirt and looked over at the television. "What would you like me to do for you?"

"Just do whatever you want..." Haze loaded and clicked on over . "I saw in the guild window I could fight [Eternal Fantasy]... I wanted to run a few simulations with Waxing..."

"What do you want me to do?" Calli said as she pulled aside her dress and sat down on the floor next to Haze, "Do you want me to massage your back? Cook for you? Clean the kitchen again? Repair the broken bone in your back?"

"I don't have a broken bone," Haze said as he felt at his back, "What are you talking about?"

"She's right... You do have a broken bone in your rib," Zack said as he crossed his arms. "It's why you slump to the side,"

"I don't... Alright, please fix it," Haze took a deep breath, and started a versus [Eternal Fantasy]. He activated the chat window and took a deep breath.

Eternal Fantasy: You-you just left? Do you have a crush on my guild master <3

Haze: No... I just want to try the on Zack and Rail. It will also be good practice."

Eternal Fantasy: I'm just messing with you ^^. I'll be packing. Do you want [Ant Life] to attack, or what?"

"Damn it! When is the food going to be getting here," Zack said with a disappointed expression as he crossed his arms. "This isn't fair... They should be able to come faster!"
