Chapter 20 - Promotion

"We're going in three,two, one... zero!" Rail snapped her fingers and they appeared in Sydney National Park.

There was a small hut with a computer bag hanging around a tree branch a few meters away. Rail snapped her fingers and went to go get it.

She smiled and grabbed the computer case before she pulled out .

"Shall we go back?" Rail said as she grabbed the bag. "Waist won't be safe if she stays out here for more than five minutes..."

"Oh right, I forgot to tell you I'm useless in your world." Waist grabbed Rail's hand before she snapped her fingers and appeared back in Haze's bedroom. "If I leave your domain, my abilities will only work outside for five minutes in the F rank."

"How do we get to the D Rank anyway?" Haze handed the remote to Zack and Carl as they walked away and went downstairs. "We can use god credits to upgrade skills, but there has to be other ways right?"

"There's multiple ways... Expanding your increases the rank of your domain. You can also make it to the D rank in , or worst case scenario be like demon boy over here and becomes someone captive and level up at their bequest."

"Can... Can I use the bathroom?" A voice came from down the hall as a shadow dripped from the room. "Ugh, you didn't have to hit me so hard... Haze, can you come here?"

"Is that the principle? Why does she know my name?"

"She's now under your control, so she gets to see your information." Waist patted him on the back. "Go have some fun with her champ... I need to get out of here for a little bit."

"I didn't want the show yet..." Carl complained and crossed his arms. "Zack here is ahead of me in episodes..."

"Don't worry, We'll be back... An hour goes fast... I just created my domain... Come visit me when you get time..."

"Sure, it was nice meeting you!" Haze offered her a handshake before she hugged him. She paused for a second and looked around. "Damn it! Where the hell is my shirt!"

"I got it... Get out of here cutie..." Rail smiled and handed her her shirt... "Anyways, we still have one dead demon on the floor. Ready to make a new god to find out where he kept his disk..."

"I'll miss you," Zack said as he turned on the screen in Haze's room. "When you get back, we'll watch Burn that Witch more together..."

"Ginger... Lime... Let's go..." Waist disappeared from the domain and entered back into her world.

Haze suddenly felt strange and looked over at the angel standing in his hallway.

"I... I need to use the bathroom... May I?"

"Sure, go ahead!" Haze smiled and sat down by his computer. He wanted to create a god now that he could use to get the disk from the demon on the floor. He opened up and saw a new window under his : called . That clearly meant to change to Waist's domain.

"Should we go there now?"

"We have enough problems here... You have your missions..." Rail smiled and jumped on his lap... "Mace, you going to train him again..."

"Taking off the clothes as we speak..." Mace started to take off her jeans and her top. "However, check your god credits... You should've gotten one when Waist completed her mission..."

"Why? Did I deserve it?"

"You assisted her and the company is fair..." Rail pointed to three spinning coins on his screen... "Anyways, check your mission prompt... Sometimes the company sees potential in someone and they get a special mission."

"Right, like I would be special..." Haze clicked on the missions tab and saw three regular missions. "See, I told you... About as special as a bug to them..."

"You're special to me," Lapis said as she slightly nudged Rail to also sit on his lap. "Anyways, look at this mission?!"

"What mission?" Haze asked as he turned around with the weight of the two girls on his lap. "What is it?

"What? What are you getting excited about?" Haze examined the options closely and tried to figure it out. "I don't get it? Why are you so excited Lapis?"

"Duh, you get a ten credit bonus... That's not a special mission, but it's close..."

"Master, upgrade me already... I'll beat everyone," Zack said as he passed him a bag of chips. "Also, your favorite episode is on?"

"One minute Zack!" Haze sighed and looked at the timer. "Well, at least we have seventy two hours this time!"

"Yes, we have seventy two hours, and you'll get more time to complete missions the more faith the company has." Rail smiled and grabbed a chip from Zack before she got up and stretched. "Anyways, it's probably not a good idea to leave your Angel along for too long... she might be confused..."

"Confused?" Haze turned around and saw his Angel, Calli, standing across the hall way with a knife to her throat... "Damn it! Don't do it! Don't kill yourself!"

"I can't... I just wanted to fix my hair for you..." The angel turned towards Haze and walked into the room. "You didn't call me so I figured you didn't like me... What do you want me to do to make you happy?!"

"Fix the kitchen! I'll be down in ten minutes!" Haze also noticed an extra window in domain that said , but scrolled to . "Damn it! We'l do it! We'll get to the D rank!"

"First, wait till the episode is over..." Zack said with a serious expression, "It's finally about to happen..."

"I don't know, but I'm watching it!"
