Leo and Lyra both sat in silence for a few moments, both looking quite hurt, confused, sad, and worried.
Eventually, Leo decided to break the silence. "So... Lyra. It's time I show you around the school."
"You're showing me around personally? But aren't you the headmaster?" Lyra asked in confusion.
"I am, but..." Leo smiled, "You are a new student in the special class. It's always me or Len who would show the new special class students around."
Lyra was still a little confused, even with that but of clarity. "How many students are in the special class? It seems odd to give such special treatment..."
"Three." Leo said quickly.
"Huh?" Lyra thought she heard incorrectly. How could there possibly be only three students in the special class?
"Three." Leo repeated. Then he clarified, "most years I don't accept any new special class students. Including you, there are currently three students in all the special class. The special class puts all grades together, so you won't be alone."
"But... three? Three still seems like too few for an entire class."
Leo ignored her last comment and stood up. "Come. I'll show you around."
Lyra got up and followed Leo out of the room.
They passed by several classrooms and Leo introduced her to a few teachers who were on a break from work. Lyra greeted them all pleasantly, but she could not stop thinking of Len.
Finally, at the end of the tour around campus, they reached the dorms.
They went to the top floor of the building, and Lyra noticed that unlike all the other floors, which were plain and had many rooms, the top floor had a common room with couches, a TV, desks, chairs, and a kitchen already equipped with kitchen utensils. There was only a total of seven rooms on that floor.
"Why is this floor so different?" Lyra asked. "Aren't you also afraid that something will happen to the stuff that's left outside?"
Leo laughed. "This floor is only for students from the special class. No one else has access to it. You need the floor key to get here and the room key to get into your actual room." He handed a set of keys to her.
"What are all these other keys for?" Lyra asked. There were eleven different keys, but Leo only told her about two of them.
"That is for you to find out later." Leo said. Lyra was looking at the keys and wondering why she would need so many.
Lyra then looked up at Leo and said, "can you please tell me?"
Leo laughed and then said, "get settled into your room first, and then we'll talk. You also need to meet your classmates."
Leo walked up to the room on the far end of the floor, took out a key, and opened the door. Lyra walked up behind him to see the inside.
"Go in." Leo said as he gestured towards the room.
Lyra walked in cautiously and then marveled at the room. It was very spacious, and it was decorated according to her tastes. There was even a sky window, and normal windows on the sides. There was a perfect view of the nearby lake and of the sky.
"How did you know to decorate it likes this?" Lyra asked.
Leo smiled. "I let Len decorate one room, and told him that he gets to choose which student gets to live in it."
Leo then walked into the room and headed directly towards the window.
"It seems that Len was thinking of you when he decorated this place."
Lyra was shocked, "does he really think about me that much?"
"Yes... He does." Leo said, and his smile faded.
"Although... I am also surprised." Lei suddenly said, which surprised Lyra.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because Len allowed someone to use the room he decorated. Even though he does not know that you are Selena, I think he still is attracted towards you."
"I see..." Lyra said quietly. She felt like hiding in a corner.
Suddenly, though, her eyes glimmered as a brilliant idea entered her head.
"That's it!" She exclaimed.
"What?" Leo was puzzled. What was going on inside of Lyra's brain now?
"If I can't tell Len that I am Selena..." Lyra started.
"Then?" Leo asked. He was curious about what she was going to say next.
"Then I can just make Len fall in love with Lyra."
"..." Leo had no response. He was still confused about what she was trying to say.
Lyra continued, "that way, we can be together forever, and I won't have to break his heart ever again!"
Leo wanted to calm down Lyra's newfound enthusiasm. "And how exactly will you do that?"
Lyra's entire figure froze, but the bright light in her eyes still remained. "I... I don't know yet." She muttered, nervously.
"Then-" Leo started, But was immediately interrupted by Lyra.
"I'll figure something out, eventually."
