"Hello? Is anyone there?" Kia said curiously. He was asleep and had found himself in a fully bloomed garden with flowers from all around. Kia slowly walked around the garden calling to see if he was alone or not then he found a bench off in the distance overlooking the garden. Kia also noticed a woman sitting on the bench with a long flowing yellow dress and blonde hair and white skin. The lady also wore a big yellow hat. As Kia got even closer it dawned on him what he thought he saw moving behind the woman they were "wings" Kia said with a puzzled look on his face.
The lady slowly looked towards Kia and with a smile on her face and a single tear forming in her sky-blue eyes she said in a happy voice "hello…my son."
Kia stopped in question and asked the woman "how can I be dreaming of my mother when I don't remember what she even looked like? So, let me ask who you really are?"
"Well Kia I am your mother so please take a seat I will explain more to you as soon as you sit down and join me." Kia slowly moved towards her and sat down cautiously. "Okay there we go progress. Now what do you wish to know first?"
"I want to know how are you my mother and how are you in my dream? I also want proof you are my mother."
"Well nice to see you again. Anyways, take my hand I will prove it to you as much as I possibly can at least." Kia grabbed the woman's hand and, in that instant, he found himself in a burning village with people screaming and running around trying to help others. He then saw in the distance the same woman with blood on her face and a child in hand then he noticed his mentor but much younger approaching her. "This is when I gave you to the blacksmith right before my death." He watched the young mentor take the child and the woman die soundlessly. After she died, he found himself back in the same garden sitting next to the woman. "Know you probably want to know how I'm not dead right?"
"Yes, please." Kia said still shaken from what he just watched in front of him.
"Well I am a sort of noble angel that's what most people would refer to us. We are beings who rarely truly die. When we die, we actually continue living on in our spirit forms and reside in any magic we may have left over. Until after a specific period of time then we can either disappear or be blessed with a new body that is given to us by the sun spirit. Our father technically. The reason I can communicate with you through your dream is because I not only did I give you my remaining magic before my body died but my blood is also inside you so you house an unlimited supply of my holy or light magic." Kia's mother explained.
"What do you mean I house an unlimited supply?"
"That's simple you have the capabilities to wield my magic. In some ways you could say that you have a holy spirit inside you that will do anything you ask of it."
"Does that also mean I will be like you when I die will I become a spirit and be blessed with a body once again or be brought back into my own body?"
"That I can't really say. Do to your father's blood I don't know what you are truly capable of to be honest."
"My father? Who is my father?"
"That? I can't say now don't get me wrong I know who it is but you aren't ready to know and most of all it isn't my job to tell you. However, I will tell you that your life can change the world for either good or bad that is all up to you." The glowing woman looked at Kia with gentle caring eyes and said to Kia "It is time for you to go your elf girlfriend is waiting for you."
Elf girlfriend? "Wait she is not my girlfriend just a companion!" Kia said in a hurry.
"Ha whatever you say sweetheart but it is time for you to go. Keep her close to you and make sure to practice your light magic and get more of a grasp on it as soon as you can. Use the book your mentor left you."
As she finished speaking Kia started to hear Lea's faint voice calling to him. "Kia? Kia?".
"Will I ever get to see you again miss?" Kia said questionably.
"Please just call me mom and yes you will see me again but remember what I told you practice light magic and master it and most of all stay with the elf and any other people you may run into they will be your strongest allies to what may come."
"Okay…mom until next time." Kia said contentedly as he slowly began to fade away until it was only his mother who was on the bench.
"I hope you can make it through the difficult road that is in front of you my boy I will help you as much as I can." His mother said speaking to herself.
"So why didn't you tell him the truth or at least who you really are holy spirit Hibika?" Said a very familiar voice off around one of the flower beds.
"Yumi? How long have you been there?"
"I showed up around the same time your son did and have been hanging in the bushes the whole time." Yumi announced in a bragging manner. As she flew around the bush to the bench "Now why didn't you tell him what this place really is or anything else important?"
"This place should just be a dream for now at least and the rest is too much for him to handle right now. He must learn about light spirits and their magic before he finds out about his father because if he isn't ready before it happens then everyone he knows and loves will die." Hibika said as she got up and walked to a patch of yellow rose buds. "Yumi may you do something for me?"
"Of course, I will your majesty." Yumi said with full respect to Hibika.
"Help teach my son about light and holy magic but most of all watch how he acts make sure he maintains control and doesn't even think about looking at dark magic."
"Of course, I will and don't worry if it comes down to it, I can call in some help from a light spirit."
"Good but only do that if it is truly needed other than that try not to get him more involved with spirits. Now go my old friend and don't fail me." At that moment Yumi flew into a bush of roses and disappeared in the buds. As silence fell on the garden Hibika turned to look at the sun and in a flash of light disappeared without a trace.
