"Grandma, where are the cows and the pigs?? and Ruffy, ?? " I ask
" Ruffy, died of old age, some few months back. The others I had to sell them as I could not manage them all.... I have chickens, vegetables and a cat now" Granny said with pride.
Meow, meow..... A haphazard orange, black, white marked cat comes along lazily...
" Ah, there she is, Munni.... here, here I will let you have some rice cake.... " Grandma invited the cat....
Munni snuggled up against grandma..
" Yes, yes I missed you too... haha" Grandma said with affection.
" Ashley, when we met you, you were trembling like a dry leaf before, what was that about?? You city folk thinks too much... haha... " Theresa laugh out loud...
I opened my mouth to protest and get back the pride of city people...
" I was.... eh.. hmmm... "

" Hi, Esha! " I was happy she came to the rescue, I went out to catch up with her.
" I reached just now... it getting hot here... " Esha said.
After chatting for a while. .. With a smug on my face, and a little rub on the tip of my nose, I said with pride..
" Guess what? Michelle texted me, asking how I was doing? "
" Oh, yeah she texted me too... " Esha replied casually.. ..
My jaw dropped upon hearing that... what??? I thought she texted only me!!!!Was the first thing that came to my head.... my happiness came crushing down....
" Ah....oo... " was all that escape from my lips after the news.
" She seems to be having a good time, she was telling that she will be going to the beach for few days with her family... how exciting for her right??"Esha was happy for her...
' What? How is it that she has more information about her than me!!! ... my stomach started to feel like it was slowly getting knot...I was angry and sad at the same time...
"Both of you are getting along well... " I said timidly...
" Huh, hello... I can't hear you well properly... can you speak louder.... " Esha said...
" I was saying, how both of you are getting along well. "I said again....
" Ah, when she texted me, I was too lazy to text her back, so I simply call and chatted with her... haha... anyways, I got to go now.... call me soon... It's your turn to call me.... bye".

The cloud of gloom started to hover over my head, I slowly wobble over the chicken coop and squatted down.
Sometimes I envy Esha, as she would be very confident...
I wanted to hear Michelle voice too... should I call her too??

I flip open my phone.... I type /M/ in my contact list... Michelle 's number pop out.... Hmmm,it can be just a short call, I told myself.... should I???
As I was waging war against my head and emotions....
"Tap, tap crack... "
I look up, one of the mother hen was tapping on it own egg!!
" Shooo, shoo... stop it.... " I said, the hen looked at me for a few seconds then continued....
" Grandma, grandma... one of the hen is pecking at its own egg!!! " I shouted...
Both the ladies came slowly, taking their own sweet time and chatting away....
" Fast, fast, there is already a creak on the egg!!! " I was starting to worry...
The ladies just bend down, for a quick peek and as if I was the one who was paranoid amd not the hen they look at me and laugh!
Huh!!! whats going on!!!
" Oh, dear! its the way of a mother hen to help their chicks crack open the egg shell. " Grandma said
" You are going to have a good time here I tell you... " Theresa said and left laughing.
