Esabel looked at Engi for a moment before walking to her room. She was only there for a moment before she brought back a rather large bottle. She claimed the alchohol was the strongest she had. One sip of it proved that statement true. It was far stronger than anything he had ever tried back on earth, and that was saying something. He used to sneak out with daniel and get into their fathers liquors. He had tried an alchohol from the early 2000's called 151 rum. A sip of that had sent him coughing for a good minute. The alchohol she handed to him was stronger than that, and had a similar burn, and yet it had a strong cinnamon taste. Just like previously he was sent into a coughing fit, his lungs rejecting the strong alchohol.
This did not stop him from taking another swig though. He sat at his work bench, staring off at the engine. Isabel took a sit beside him and likewise took a drink. She took the shot like a champ, the strong taste only leaving her cheeks slightly flushed. Two small glasses were placed beside the bottle as the two drank. Engi was filling tipsy after several sips of the alchohol, his head was slightly spinning.
"You know it's kind of fucked, the first time I get to play a game I get stuck in an alternate dimension. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing world, and the entire situation reminds me of an isekai novel. But getting stuck with a group of beautiful women that hate men? That's just torture."
"You think it's bad for you? Do you realize how badly the orcs treated us before we rose up against them? Do you realize how savage they are? If not for the fact that we have to breed with them we have long since gotten rid of the male portion of our population. You've seen the males that have been castrated, they are useless, only capable of the simpmist tasks. They lose their ferocity and muscles, but become timid in the process. The males that haven't been castrated are little more than beasts, they are ruled by their instincts, they either sleep, eat, fuck, or kill. Just having a non castrated male on board is like having a ticking time bomb on board. I know you're not going to do anything, but the others? why do you think you were given a room here?"
"So why would they rip me away from my world? If I'm such a ticking time bomb?"
"Do you realize just how special you are? Let's not even talk about your metal affinity. When they find that out your value will skyrocket. But a Unique class Mechanic? You can learn anything related to machines. Their design, their usages, their power source. There is no need for you to specialize like all the others. With your metal affinity your powers will be greater. Eventually you will able to summon metal right of thin air, and form it into whatever shape you want! With your mechanical ability..."
At this point Engi was not listening, nor had he been for the entire conversation. He did not even realize he has spoke aloud. His head was spinning far more than he could cope with. And yet he still continued to drink. The warm burn of cinnamon whiskey down his throat was the only thing that he could concentrate on. The only thing out of this situation that seem real.
He woke up the next morning slumped over his work bench. His throat felt dry and his eyes were on fire. The Steady thrum of the engine sounded like fighter jets taking off, causing his head to violently tremble. As he stood up the world around him spun as if rejecting g his very movements.
It took him great effort to stumble out of the engine room. He had only left the engine room to use the bathroom previously, and that is where he was headed now. He had previously always went with Esabel, who would stand guard as he entered the only bathroom available. It was a rather large room. with no urinals to be seen. There were not even any barriers between the toilets.
He ignored the sight of the woman who were occupying said toilets, and tried to ignore their screams. This was not very effective, as each sounding of the girls would send a wave of nausea through his being. He leaned against the wall for support as he advanced towards the rear of the bathroom. His destination was the showers at the end.
He did not even wait until he arrived to strip off his clothes, what little he had. He had spawned wearing a pair of black pants, and that was it. He did not have time to think about how weird the orcs culture was. How they walked around mostly naked, but seeing them in the bathroom or shower was a big deal.
The water was not hot or even warm as it poured down onto him. The icey water sent shivers down his body as it soaked into his flesh, and yet it felt like heaven to the half orc. He stood under the pouring water for an unknown amount of time, ignoring the glares of the females around him. More specifically he did not even realize they were in there. His entire mind was occupied by the water pouring down on him. He opened his mouth ocassionally, letting the water pour in. The icey liquid acting like the worlds best tonic as it slowly relieves him of the symptoms of his pour choices.
Hours passed, and finally he felt a small hand on his shoulder. He turned to see sergeant Esabel staring at him, a look of slight sympathy in her eyes as she saw the dead expression in his eyes. The harsh words that were on her lips died as she slowly guided the half orc back to the engine room.
