By the time it had finally been finished the very slim amount of stem that was connected to my body snapped... It fell... I quickly transfer my vision to it forcing myself to think of only this small part of my body in that moment I flapped my wings... Thunderous winds could be heard all around every tree in the cavern all around leaves were pushed by the wind but the small rats only winced and braced themselves. Wow... Is my newborn LeafHawk really that strong? I mean it's body and wings are a bit larger then the rats after all each wing is about as long as their body not counting there tails... As I stretch my wings out I realized I was flying.... well... Gliding but flying none the less... I try again to gently flap my wings as I fly around... Before long I realize... Each of the LeafBirds are also flying now... I guess when I focused on the one thing all of the other pieces of myself capable of that one thing also did it... Cool... As I flew I glided around the tree and something hit my face... Ow... It was... Oh... The first leafbird... I'll call it number one... He's a bit larger then the others... I guess that's why he managed to survive flying into leafhawk. I should really give it a better name... Eh... Hmm... Alpha is a cool name I guess but it's basically the same thing as leafhawk and why should it have a name of it's own... It's only a piece of myself... I don't even have a name yet... Huh I don't have a name... Wonder what the rats call me... Do they just call me something like tree? That'd be dumb... Wait... they don't even speak... I mean they must think they seem pretty bright... But all they tend to have is screeching and body language. Hmm, they definitely seem to recognize me to some extent I mean they didn't attack my one initially when they saw him. Even the guard waited for me to move before proceeding not even making a sound to alert me that it was waiting... I mean One is definitely a bigger bird then the others but compared to the Guard it's not even a competition he could have squished one like a bug without even realizing it. He had to of recognized me... As I ponder the significance of minor things I appear to be riding myself... one is just sitting on leafhawks shoulder... I guess that makes sense but I didn't exactly do that on purpose... Was it because I was busy thinking so it was never really told to do anything... While the others just kinda kept flying... Oh... Now that I think about it... I'm above the city now... Well then... I guess I'll land. I don't think this will come across as a threat... I mean they recognize the birds as a piece of me right? As each leafbird landed I tried my best to gently land with my leafhawk... It didn't exactly go great... as I roll over and find myself next to the trash heap... Or that's what it used to be. Now all the trash has been displaced by a tree about the size of RootSnake... Huh... I guess I did have some roots in here too. As I look around many rats are starring. However none of them seem to approach. I wait patiently. However nothing happens... Maybe the king is away? I try to command the little birds individually again... Like moving a thousand toes in different directions it's a pain... Now that I think about it that's the info from nothingness again... I've never had toes... Well I guess I do have toes now. On my birds. Each has three talon like toes. My leafhawk's talons are about the size of the leafbirds entire bodies and made of wood like deadly scythes about the size of a long sword... Scary... Granted they are still just wood not like they'd be able to cut quite like a sword... While I was admiring my body each little Leafbird wobbled over to a rat or flies off. I am thinking of giving one to every rat here hopefully unlike my other leaves these won't petrify. I don't have nearly enough for all the rats though and I still need to search for the king. As each rat seems to take there new pets happily I then decide to head back to the tree and try to make more... It's pretty difficult to now try to force the leaf birds to not act as I begin to take my leafhawk off the ground. A few of the birds wings flap but I manage to keep them from flying away. As I fly back towards my tree I stop by the wall to inspect my new fruit. They definitely changed a lot... But all I can see is the color is different they are also a bit bigger and more defined as a apple. Rather then just the old balls of nameless unknown fruit. I gentle place my wing against the apples and close my eyes...

I guess that would explain why the guard had gotten so much larger then last I saw him. Do the fruits boost different things? Maybe that's why they divided them up like that at the shrine... Wait but if they have all the same fruit here why fill the shrine full of them? Are they trying to allow the fruit to be eaten by other creatures I let in? Will they be friendly towards any of my followers?Hmm. Curious I move my vision to one of the small leaf birds... It would seem they've all been taken home as pets... Or idols... Hmm. Anyways I have most of them just kinda sitting still. The rat that's carrying the one I shifted my vision to appears to be walking home... I place a hand onto the rat and close my eyes.

While they tend to be guardsmen as they grow up most of these rats are simple laborers that work for a nearby rat king while they aren't as dangerous as a king they are still quite ferocious and intelligent.*
So it would seem that those who worship me are labeled with a title of sorts. That's good to know. What's this about unknown? Do I really just have no name... That's quite odd. Well I guess it's not wrong to give myself a name. But I feel like somewhere in the infinitely vast well of knowledge in my head that I once had one... I can't just give myself a name... and if I had a name maybe I'll remember it someday.
