BarkPanther? Dumb... WoodWolf? Eh option I guess these all seem rather spot on. While they aren't actual people or things just extensions of myself the names don't really matter but I should have some sort of label for them. I have been mass producing things based on a form of blueprint like style and I quite enjoy being able to recognize the difference between each with a simple name...
Should I give this one an actual name? It's not like I'll be able to mass produce it easily though due to the fact it's not leaves it comes from my actual body so takes longer to regenerate so I should come up with a solid design and name it properly while I've got a general idea of what I want and have the base structure built it's still a tad underdeveloped in comparison to my usual hawk that is. All I really have is a very sturdy wooden four legged animal as of now. It doesn't really seem to have any real form. I could do rats but that would be a tad weird... I don't want to start replacing my followers with wooden beasts seeing as I can't control all of the beasts easily. It's easier to simply push them in the direction I want and lead with a single beast otherwise the movements will be too dulled and clumsy. So what actual form should it take? I am kinda leaning towards the idea of a wolf.
As the thought crosses my mind I decide to ditch the smaller version of about the size of a rat and go with a wooden structure that could entirely fill out most of the caverns so it's a about two to three times larger then the guard as I design each individual part I decide it would also make for a useful carier of sorts and start making a new form of bird that's even smaller then all the others but has sharp talons and good wings. I will dub them pigeons for now... can't really make fur out of bark so I figure that's just make a endless army of terribly small birds that can be used to swarm anything that comes along but also follows the wolf appearance. As I design the new creature I force leaves to sprout out over it's body then slowly mold those over and over into the fur as each part of the wolf's body is further designed to my liking. I had a few raven's fly off and find me some large stones as I am searching and carefully crafting the wolf I find a giant shinny white stone sitting out in a field it seems to be in the way as a rat is planting mushrooms around it and kicks it... Can't help but chuckle a bit at the perfect timing... As each of the ravens fly down and wrap there legs around one side I extend the legs like ropes around it and connect them all at the bottom and have them all fly towards my tree. The rat happily started planting mushrooms in the area that just got cleared up seemingly uninterested in where the ravens are taking the strange rock.
As I wait for the ravens to get back with the rock I continue to form the wolf, slowly designing and shaping each individual part and a long snout with room for many teeth but leaving the teeth unmade for now, long wooden legs meticulously designed with intricate bones and internal make up designing the parts to reinforce the bones and body so it'll be as sturdy and hard as possible. Making space on the paws for long claws to fit. As I finally finished all I could do and continued building up the fur the ravens had finally returned with the stone quickly I unravel the legs and break off the over growth slowly returning the ravens back to how they were as the stone plummets towards the earth. I couldn't find something hard enough other then the rats little shrine. So I went ahead and just threw the rock towards one of my roots to smash it up a bit. As the rock slammed into me splints of stone flew everywhere and I sent out my birds to try to collect individual pieces and start slowly carving the fangs and claws with there wooden talons while it takes a good deal of effort as even my own body is still just a strong kinda wood most stones would be a bit stronger. Slowly bit by bit I've formed rough looking claws and fangs then begin to slowly try to fold a piece of wood into a form of whetstone. It's not great but it's close knowing the make up and theory behind a whetstone I can make a rough version of one... But it's not to effective. I remember the rats are fairly good at crafting things so I quickly send off a bird with a chunk of stone and the newly crafted crude whetstone towards the rat town as I get closer I see many of the rats slowly collecting fruit bit by bit along the walls then being carried back towards homes crafted of stone and mud many roof seem to be covered with my solidified fallen leaves, as I fly towards the rat kings home I start nudging him towards the door to let him know I'm coming to visit. As I land he's already waiting there in-front of his home seemingly not bothered by my sudden arrival. As I place the crude whetstone on the ground and start grinding the stone across it the king seems to frown then rushes into his home... Maybe he gets my intent?
