Chapter 24 - Ch. 24 Crafting

As the Alex faded away the king walked out from his home holding a jagged rock half the size of his head it had a smooth lustrous outer appearance with many scuffs and scratches only being able to slightly diminish what appeared to be a clear white pond contained within a chunk of earth it looked quite cool... But there's an issue... I can't carry this... Not without simply sending a whole group of ravens or my hawk or having a flock of pigeons but that seems like a lot of work for a half baked idea.

After some debating I stumbled over and sat upon the stone and moved my perspective back to the wolf still incomplete and began to fashion the crude claws to the paws and join the fangs with the wood that makes up the wolf jaw using much of my leaves to act as a cushion as I tighten the wood around the fangs to give it leeway to prevent the stones from breaking to easily in the event something were to strike the jaw I then send out a bunch of pigeons to grab small stones and start gently filing the teeth to a edge I can't exactly sharpen then even if I reach the whetstone without taking them out. I designed the wolf with a canine perspective so it's bite should always be more dangerous then it's claws. I made sure the teeth were securely placed in so that they could shred an opponents flesh cleanly without being ripped out. I shape the talons as good as I can but I still don't know if any form whetstone will work... To bad wasted the kings time for nothing... Well at least I know about it... Might come up in the future.

As I ponder the idea of making a sword and a body to wield it my mind wanders and I'm shock to find a cold sensation far away... It would seem I'm soon to obtain a fight for my new wolf... Now for the name? Ah well let's work it out later I guess.

All the pigeons move back to there places reform the emerald fur of the now giant wolf as it breaks away from the base of the tree and begins to bound forward towards the mouth of the cavern an army of ravens led by a hawk in tow. I rush past the guards as a they seem to acknowledge me for once possibly due to the massive scale of the march as a seemingly endless swarm of birds is slithering like a giant emerald snake as it chases and unknown giant wolf as it rushes out of the cavern. They seemed to be a mix of terrified and amazed as they pass almost as soon as they were in sight. I wonder how badly I would have shocked them if I had brought along all my ravens rather then just the amount I believed I could safely control without flying into things and the wolf tripping over his own feet. Sadly that meant I only had about a hundred ravens a hawk and a wolf to work with. As I reached the cavern I immediately got started. I planted my wolf into the ground firmly as it looked like a good little doggie sitting for it's master it opened it's mouth as it began mass regenerating more pigeons from all the wood parts on it's body as I started to mold the new pigeons into trees and those tree's into a giant wooden structure a door of sorts made up of me that only I can open without breaking it. I close it tightly preventing any water from seeping through just as a torrent of water breaks through the last bit of dirt that made up the caved in tunnel. A thunderous wave of water slams with the force of a hundred raging bulls into the newly made wall as if it had a will of it's own pushing hard trying to break it down.

I began to slowly absorb the water drinking deeply from the raging wave of elemental's as it seems to lessen every second it then begins to subside and retreat away from the wall of wood that acted as a giant beast with it's mouth agape as the water elemental's rushed foolishly to be eaten. As it rushed away another wave could be heard but this time it stopped right before it struck the wall of me and then behind it I could see many bears beginning to freeze parts of the elemental as it flung the ice towards me.

Smart bombarding me when crashing into me didn't work clearly a very high level of intellect is involved in this battle. However sadly as this wall lives even if they were to shred it I can just regenerate the damaged parts. Again and again the ice would pierce the wall of me only for me to coil around it shattering it like nothing and the hole to be healed up almost as if I were a wall of countless snakes coiling and replacing it's fallen comrades. After hours of this the bears were all worn to the ground not a single one even appeared able to stand anymore. The water elemental seemed to be to small to do much but sit back not able to do anymore. As the last moment passed the water elemental seemd to realize what was about to occur.

Thump thump thump the sound of my paws striking the ground as my wolfen form leisurely strolled to the wall of wood and it parted as if the wolf was walking through a waterfall. The elemental and my eyes met for the first time, endlessly blue as deep as the see and an emerald hue coming from my eyes... The two colors seemed to clash terribly before the water elemental immediately rushed away seeping through the walls as if they weren't even there in the first place leaving the bears to die.

*Yet again she comes just outside of the mc's field of vision as he rushes forward "Skill [Soul Refining] unlock requirement 9% met" yet again gone without explanation*
