The throne room remained quiet. The three older children stood quietly in a line waiting for their father. Calmly Celesti let out a small breath placing her hands in a ladylike manner in front of her.
After Sirius called for them during sword practice the three went straight to the throne room without changing.
Hearing the sound of the door opening three heads turned towards the sound. Watching silently as their father stepped into the throne room. The serious expression on his face confirming them they were talking to their emperor at this moment.
"Your majesty."
The three siblings greeted respectful placing one hand over their heart bowing to their Emperor.
With a small frown their father waved his hand at the three siblings. With a sigh he took a seat on his throne. The troubled look in his face caused curiosity to strike through the three.
"Father?" Celesti called out in worry as she noticed his hand squeezing into a fist. A sort of fire appearing in his eyes.
Gazing up at his three older children a small smile appeared on his face. The image of his children appearing before him in their younger child forms flashed through his mind. No matter how many years would pass. No matter how much older they would become. They would always be his small stars be only wanted to protect and care for.
"Father," Sirius called out with a tiny hint of worry in his voice. Since he was a child he had always matured much faster than the rest of his siblings. Every few times expressing what he felt but only carrying that blank calm expression. When he did show any expression was for his own family.
Seeing the worry in his eldest child, Emperor Caelum shook his head.
"I'm fine, I only wanted to speak to you children." Emperor Caelum said leaning back against his chair. Sharing a look Celesti and Rigel looked at one another before turning to their father.
"Then what is it, father?" Rigel spoke out the silent question.
"I've received a letter that the new Soleil Emperor has sent his trusted advisor to escort Celesti to the Soleil Empire." Emperor Caelum spoke out sourly with much trouble as if he had swallowed a cup of nails.
"What! That little mutt! Who does he think he is?! Does he think he can just insult Celestia and my sister like that! Let's send back his adviser's head!"Rigel yelled out in full rage taking a step forward with his fist up. His aura burning bright as the fire inside him raged.
Flinching Celesti took a step away from her brother. The overwhelming use of his aura raged like an uncontrollable firestorm.
"Rigel," Sirius spoke out calmly through the commotion his younger brother was making. Hearing the hidden authority in his voice Rigel forced himself to calm down with a rage still seen in his eyes as he stepped back to his spot.
"We can't do anything that would jeopardize our treaty. But it would be a shame if that adviser's life would be cut short before he arrived." Sirius spoke out with a chillness filling the room letting out a cold smile. Celesti's face grew shocked by her own brother's words as she stared at them flabbergasted.
Understanding what his older brother was hinting at Rigel grinned letting out a chuckle. The air around him growing dark as his eyes flashed.
"Enough." Emperor Caelum spoke out breaking through the tension. Celesti began to feel some hope her father would stop the two only to see the same spark in her father's eyes.
"Like your brother said. We can't jeopardize the peace treaty with the Soleil empire, but if his messenger were to disappear before he reached Celestia soil that's another thing."
In approval the two brothers nodded their heads as the three began plotting among another.
Sighing Celesti only shook her head feeling her energy drain away but the childish schemes of her brothers and father.
She could only hoped that the innocent advisor appeared in one piece.
