The bright morning sun shined down on the world below as a certain pair of twins hurried along the halls.
"Seren, don't run so fast!" The youngest twin Lupus called out with an exhausted helpless expression as he tried his hardest to follow after his running twin.
"Lupus, Hurry up!" Seren yelled back with a determined look on her face. Her small hands clenching over her skirts as she ran. Anger filling her heart as the image of this morning crossed her mind.
Earlier that morning the twins had rushed over to their older sister's room as soon as they woke up. Planning on sneaking up behind her to tackle the girl in their daily twin good morning hug. Instead, when the two snuck inside they noticed their dear sister sitting in front of her vanity. Her posture stiff like a doll as she stared blankly at her reflection with a sad look in her eyes.
Seeing the sad look in their big sister's eyes the twins wanted to cheer up their sister. Their eyes lightening up when they remembered Celesti's favorite pastel blue roses that grew in Celestia surrounding the silver tree. Since the twins were still too young they weren't allowed into the indoor garden where the Silver tree was safely guarded. The only way in was by sneaking in through the secret entrance they had once stumbled upon spying on their brother Rigel.
Once inside the two hid behind some bushes seeing their mother and father talking among one another.
Their discussion growing louder as their gentle mother cried out.
"It's still too soon!" Empress Titania cried out her long blue lilac hair shifting widely as she turned away from her Emperor husband. A heavy frown present on her face. Crossing her arm in anger. It was rare when the queen's gentle smiling face would turn to a frown.
The queen was still just as beautiful as she had been before she had married the king. Long soft Lilac hair, like silk it streamed down her mid-thighs. Her skin flawless and pure like fresh snow. Eyes like gems in the color of the lilac flowers. A youthful expression on her face with a sweet softness. Always holding a gentle smile on her face. Yet at this time the smile was nowhere in sight.
"We can't delay any longer, the Soleil heir prince has become the new emperor. We can't break the promise our two empires have made. We need this peace." Emperor Caelum spoke out with difficulty in his voice. His eyes showing the sorrow he was feeling at that moment.
"When?" Empress Titania asked her eyes gazing down at the pastel blue Rose's growing nearby.

"Titania, please." Emperor Caelum spoke gentle to calm the rage in the empress' eyes. Seeing a plan unfold in his wife's fire blazing eyes.
"Wait, Titania!" He quickly rushed after his queen who made her way out of the garden. Her fast heel steps leading her to the training grounds where her eldest sons and celestial knights trained.
Staying behind the twins turned to one another before their own plan unfolded.
They were going to protect their sister from the big stupid king.
