The sound of the orchestra band playing echoed through the large ballroom. A warm gold light glowed in the room from the lit crystal chandeliers. Long tall windows on the west wall had their curtains drawn back. Revealing the beauty of the large gardens outside. Wine glasses handed to the servants to the guests as they waited. The smell of expensive perfume and the sparkle of the jewels worn by the ladies stood out in the room. On this special occasion the ladies wore their best dresses and largest jewels. The men dressed in pressed suits and shiny shoes.
The sound of the large double doors opening caught the attention of everyone in the room. The room grew silent. All heads turned to the door, freezing in awe for a moment.
The ladies in the room whispered among another behind their open fans. Gentlemen stared in awe at the rare beauty in front of them.
Standing out like a rare Sapphire in the midst of all the gold. Her dress, unlike the other ladies, wasn't puffed upskirt and corset but made of fine soft fabrics and silks. A pale blue shade, the skirt flowing around her as she seemed to glide across the floor. The dress seemingly beautiful like a Greek goddess showing off her slim tall body. The silk shaw she had wrapped across her shoulder shifted with each step. Her long strands of wavy hair fell loose down her back with only two small braids holding a few front strands back loosely with a moon hairpin. The color of her hair a strange silver color that when the sun reflected upon it a faint shade of purple would emerge. Her porcelain skin seemed to glow like fresh snow with a small delicate face. A full set of eyelashes that framed her calm-looking silver-violet eyes and a pair of cupid's bow rosy lips.
She was truly a rare kind of beauty.
All seemed to be In awe watching expect for the groom to be. His eyes remaining calm and unreadable the entire time as the crown on his head shined against the lights in the room.
He was indeed the king and the beauty was to be his new official queen.
A beauty himself with dark raven hair and golden eyes. His body tall and lean with good amount of muscles while his hair was brushed in a back with the front bang strands framing his beautifully structured face. He seemed worldly untouchable to everyone else in the room as he stood there silently.
As the bride walked up to the king the guests' only thoughts were what a beautiful couple they would be. Every well suited for one another. A union no one had expected between the Celestia royal family and the Soleil royal family.
They never once believed after all these centuries off existing separate from each other's worlds. Would the moon and sun unit in matrimony.
Reaching his had out the bride place her hand in his coming to stand next to one another. The Sapphires emitted in the stars on her crowns standing next to the lone sun star in his own crown. The perfect couple never once glancing at each other as the ceremony started. It was only at the end when their fates were tied till death did the expressionless King whisper in her ear.
"Remember, don't expect a loving husband."
Rather than to feel offended or disappointed with being doomed with a loveless marriage. The now queen looked up at his tall body, her eyes for the first time meeting his own. A gentle unaffected happy smile spread across her face. As if she had heard she was being awarded than doomed.
"Don't worry, Your majesty. That's all I wish."
To live comfortably in peace, even if I become forgotten to him.
