Once she entered the building, she didn't think much about it before entering the elevator. She looked up to see the numbers to find out what floor she was in right now.
After a long wait for someone who wants to use the elevator that never even showed up, she then raised her hands to press a button to close the door before pressing the button on the ground floor, after she pressed it, the elevator started moving down.
The elevator stops at the 19th floor as the door opens. She looked up and made eye contact with the woman who was trying to get into the elevator. Deneza waited for the woman to arrive, but what she didn't expect was that the woman suddenly shouted loudly before she ran away.
She was stunned and speechless, so without thinking, she press the closed button so that the elevator would start going down.
The lift stops at the 18th floor, the moment the door opens. She saw around five people who would like to get into the elevator, So she moves around the corner so they can get in, but that did leave her even dumber when she heard the screams as they run away from her.
She pressed her lips tightly while she again raised her hands to press the button to close the door.
The elevator stops at the 17th floor and as the door opens. The people who saw her also did the same as the people before it.
Deneza was really stunned for their reaction as it was one of a kind whenever they saw her, and as if a thunder just hit her why they had such a reaction. She scratch her nape as she remembers how she looks like.
After considering their fragile heart, she leaves the elevator. She didn't want to make a scene as much as possible. She look around to look for the stairs. She prefers to take the stairs to get downstairs rather than the elevator.
Her reason? Well, that was because, if she used the elevator, nobody would have tried to get in the elevator once they saw her there. They'd think she was some kind of ghost because of get up!
In fact, she'd freak out too if she saw someone who looked just like her. However, she cannot guarantee that she will not strike them.
She already has a natural wavy waist length hair, so making it disheveled make it look like a bird's nest. A worn white hospital gown with a bloodstain and dirt, no one would think this hospital gown she was wearing was new. Burned skin on her right arm and left side of her neck, scars on her arms, dirty face, which she gets while rolling on the rooftop and it even has a blood stain. To make a long story short, she does look like a ghost! A freaking ghost! Whether she's willing to admit it or not, she looks like she a ghost at the moment.
Looking at her present state only makes her feels like a crap. She was utterly uncomfortable. She's desperate to take a bath and change! However, what could she do? Her place is not here! It's impossible for her to go to the marketplace and get clothes there without paying, yes? She wasn't a thief and never thought about becoming one even she was desperate for change, and if she really did. Her brother Liam or her sister Jayce would kill her!
Kidding...
They're not going to kill her, but they're certainly going to mash her up and she's not be able to get out of her bed for a year. Therefore, the only thing she could do at the moment was to go to her place im Country K as soon as possible, so she can have a bath and change. But it would take her for a day or two to get there.
She really didn't know what to do, and her best choice was to cry for her luck but there are no tears for her to cry!
"Kyaaaaaahh!"
A loud cry from the woman climbing the stairs screams loudly as soon as the woman sees her. Deneza who was absent mindedly walking down, look at the woman in front of her when the woman shouted loudly and brought her back to earth. She was stunned watching the woman running down the stairs.
She was stunned for a long time before she said softly: "That's the eleventh time."
She had been in her own world, lost in thought and did not return to her senses until she heard a loud noise.
She wondered how these people would use the stairs even if there was an elevator? If you ask her, she prefers an elevator instead of a staircase. She only shook her head as she kept walking forward, not caring for those people shouting and running away when they saw her.
After some time, she looked at the sign indicating which floor she was currently on. "3 floors left." She murmured before she turns around and walks towards the stairs. The building has the 20th floor, and it took some time before she finally reached the ground floor. By the time she opened the door, her gaze was directed toward the two people sitting casually on the bench in the lobby.
Her eyebrows knitted slowly whenrecognized them. They were the people who was chasing her earlier. What are these people doing here? It was like, they've been waiting so long for her to come down from the rooftop. It was as if, they're expecting her to be here.
She did not even care about the screams, the glances, the reactions of others who had remained rooted in their place when they saw her once she opened the door. It was because they never expected that people who used the stairs earlier and fled saying they had seen a ghost, really saw a ghost there. They thought they were pranking them. But, look! It was true! There's a ghost! A ghost damn it!
