Deneza had been dumbstrucks for so long and there was a long silence between them. And if it lasts a bit longer, it would be awkward, so Deneza broke the silence as she said: "Why are you here?"
"Are we not allowed to visit you? It's been so long since we've seen each other." Alexa said, she was smiling brightly as she looked at Deneza's dumbstruck expression.
"We look forward to a comforting hug from you to welcome us. Look what you did, though. How come you get so cold when you see us?" Eric said, his voice was filled with disappointment. But Deneza knew him well and he was only acting like an abandoned kid who got a perfect mark on the exam and waited for his mother to congratulate him.
Deneza's aura got even darker when she heard it, as she said, "It won't happen if you simply disclose your identity when I ask you."
So it was like this. Everything makes sense now. The reason she didn't feel any malicious intent, not because they hid it well, but because they really didn't have any bad intentions towards her. How can they have any malicious intent toward her? Although they don't have anything to do with blood, but they treat themselves like the real ones. In fact, they are all very distant from their biological families.
Eric and Alexa looked at one another and then laughed in unison. Eric said while he was still laughing: "Well, before we said something you abruptly cut us off before you went up on the roof, yes?"
"That's right! So, we decided to just go with the flow." Alexa said, she was still laughing as she walked towards Deneza, she lifted up her arms and embraced her and said, "I miss you, Deneza."
Deneza sighed with her arms raised to embrace her back and said: "I miss you too."
On the other hand, Eric, who was watching them arch their eyebrows, before walking towards them and reaching out to join their heart warming embrace and said teasingly: "I miss you too Deneza~"
Deneza raised her head while she stared at him. She squinted her eyes upon him and said, "Who would miss you?"
"Cold-hearted." He said with a painful expression on his face before they all laughed together.
After quite some time. Eric looked at Deneza from head to toe and from toe to head before saying, "The real ghost will be definitely pale in comparison."
Alexa almost rolled on the ground as she laughed louder and louder: "For pete's sake. Eric, why should you mention it? Ugh, my stomach hurts."
"Well, you know. When I saw Deneza on the street, walking for whomever knows where, I even forgot to count the number of times she stumbled and tripped." Eric teasingly said while looking at the expression of Deneza which turns even darker. But he didn't bother about her expression she was making as he continued: "A clumsy white lady."
Alexa burst as tears could be seen in the corner of her eyes. She continued to laugh.
Deneza was having a headache. She knew Alexa very well and once she started laughing for something she would need a long time to move on.
"Eric you should know how short tempered I am. I'm doing my best not to beat you because it was our reunion after so long." Deneza said she was glaring with daggers at him
Eric smiled with a raised hand and said: "Okay, okay. I'm going to pause now."
Deneza knitted her brows when she heard her last sentence, but she didn't respond because she knew them well!
"I want to change." She spoke with an empty expression. Since these two are here, would that mean she doesn't need to go her place before she can get change?
As soon as Alexa heard it, she laughed even harder and Eric couldn't resist laughing before saying: "Sure, but we have to get back before you can change your clothes."
Denexa frowned with dissatisfaction as she said: "You can just go to market nearby and buy new clothes and water for me to clean up."
She's awfully uncomfortable right now. Though she doesn't have any body odor, but if she continued to use these clothes, she would still smell because of the odor that the clothes emits when it didn't wash for a day. Besides, the scent of blood is unpleasant to smell even if it is fresh.
Eric shook his head when he heard his reasons, but he shook his head when she had finished speaking. He looked at her with a serious expression and said, "That's the best option we have, but the problem is that we haven't bring any money."
Deneza was in disbelief as she looked at him with daggers. She turned her eyes on Alexa, who laughed more than ever. Even though they knew them and had no reason to lie to her, she was still not buying what she had heard. Who the heck would not bring any money?
"Why didn't you bring any money when you're going out? How could anyone believe that?" She said while she was walking toward him and began looking for money from his body. After so long, she found nothing before walking towards Alexa and did the same. She raised her head and looked at them with disbelief and said, "Why you didn't bring money?!"
"How can we think of bringing money if we think is to meet you?" Alexa eventually said after she finished laughing. Which means that she finally gets over it. But Deneza was certain that what happened today would be her dark history that would hunt her down.
"Yeah, we haven't thought much about it 'cause we're looking forward to meeting you." Eric said it all in a playful manner while looking at her, Never cared how Deneza looked at him with daggers. If her look could kill then he probably died with a million cuts.
"Eric got it right Deneza. We're only excited to meet you. Neither did we bring our phone when we came looking for you." Alexa's body was shaking as she tried to stay as calm as possible because she didn't want to laugh any more. It makes his belly ache.
Deneza arched her eyebrows as she lifted her hand to brush the hair in Alexa's ears before she said: "Oh yeah?"
