Deneza and the two rats made intensive and sharp eye contact, Even if Deneza couldn't see their eyes from the dark glasses they were wearing which blocking their eyes. But even for that, she knew they were staring at her, too.
The three of them didn't give a crap on how people reacted to Deneza. The two rats' attention was hers while Deneza's attention was theirs.
After a long eye-to-eye interaction. Deneza narrows her eyes while looking away. Don't get her wrong. She definitely didn't want to break it first, but if she provoked them here, then wouldn't that be bad for her? She never wanted to fight here. They were after all a person from the underworld. So fighting out of the underworld would be a bit risky and problematic.
She's got to get out of this building first and try to get away form their sight. But of course that's impossible. She was certain they were looking for her. She then moved and came up to the door as if she was not the reason why the people on the ground floor were turning into chaos.
When she gets out, she turns around and walks to the front. It never bothered her when everyone who see her got spooked. To be honest, she was wondering what would happen if she actually did her share to act like a ghost since they all considered her as one? Will the real ghost going to pale in comparison because all people can see her.
She didn't run away because if she kept running and used up all her stamina, it would be such a crap for her. She needs stamina, which can last a day or two without resting. She wants to make it to her house as fast as she can!
That's what she said, but she decided she'd keep running. She's running towards where she thinks only a few people might be there. She also feels that the two rats never even followed her when she left the building. "What's their deal?" She mumbled as she frowned.
She turns many times for an hour before looking around and once she sees a bench, she walks towards it and sits on it. She wanted to know how much time it would take them to get here.
She rested her arms on the lean chair and leaned her head backwards as she stares in the sky. She squinted her eyes before she said coldly: "What do you want from me?"
If they want to fight, it will be her pleasure to accept it. She wasn't timid, weak, coward to begin with. Although she enjoys fighting but she didn't want to cause any more trouble. She got into trouble at the hospital not long ago. But the fact that they're here means that they want something from her. Well, it's either her life or she herself. She can already state the scope of their capabilities. Pretty good for her to give them a perfect score. And she was pretty sure that apart from them, there's someone who always told them exactly where she was. Since she was sure that even though they were chasing her once she runs off, They didn't come after her to the end. She was almost sure the two of them had lost sight of her back in alley. But then they were waiting on the other side of the wall and even in the lobby.
She's been resting on a bench for five minutes, but look! They're already here!! She was sure they hadn't even followed her when she left the building.
She looked around and saw a surveillance camera on the wall. If she was not wrong then the other person was behind this video surveillance as she could not feel the presence of anyone from the beginning once she noticed those two earlier.
Instead of giving the her an answer, they looked at her and walks away. Deneza lifts his eyebrows as she rose and follows them. She knew that they shouldn't cause troubles in public. Because if you killed somebody outside the underworld, the law would punish you.
But let's not talk about that anymore, because somehow she has a bad premonition. She could not understand but somehow her sixth sense telling her that something really bad is coming if she follows them.
Her sixth sense never made a mistake. But looking at their physique. She could not understand but their physique seemed so familiar.
"Could it be someone from the underworld I know?" She said to her mind and frowned, But it was not long before she shook her head to put aside such thoughts. She still need to deal with them.
They were walking for whoever knows where and She didn't stop when she saw them halt. She looks around and find herself in the back of the building. An alley where there would be no other presence apart from the three.
She furrowed her eyebrows and looked at them in silence. She won't move until they move, because sometimes the ones who attack first are still the ones who lost the battle. They had no weapons so that their battle would last and there would be no insta kill.
Deneza patiently awaited them, but they only look at her as though they were encouraging her to take the first step. Half an hour went by, but they didn't do anything that caused Deneza to explode. They're attempting to challenge her patient that she will voluntarily lift a white flag to admit her defeat since she does not have that word on her vocabulary to begin with!
"So? What do you want from me?" She asked, her voice was as cold as ice. "Don't waste my time. Make haste."
While they remained quiet, she exploded as she throws the cloth on her hand, which she had used as a temporary bandage on her hand. She runs towards them as she gave the one a side kick buts was blocked by his arms. She backs away to avoid the next attack from the other before giving the other a kick to the back but it was also blocked.
She was about to give another kick when she heard them chuckling and said: "As always, but let's cut it out."
"Eric?" she said with astonishment at the familiar voice. She saw them removing the eyeglasses as she was once again heard another familiar voice.
"Surprise!"
"Alexa..."
