"As you can see, I have not changed yet since last night. I need clothes, that is all I need for now."
"Okay, if you insist. Your wish is my command."
Clyde said as though he was a fairy godmother granting poor Cinderella her wish. Syra, on the other hand, waited for something to happen but she did not notice any.
"Is that it?"
Syra asked with a blank expression as she tried to hide her annoyance. Because she thought that Clyde was only making fun of her and he just purposely made her believe that he would grant her a wish even though he did not exactly intend to do so, in the first place.
"Why? Are you waiting for me to say 'Bibbidi bobbidi boo' and change your clothes in a blink of an eye? I don't do it that way."
As though reading Syra's mind, Clyde told her that with a playful smirk pasted on his face.
"Hmph..."
Syra harrumphed and then bid him her farewell instead for she could not stand seeing his smug face anymore.
"If you don't need anything from me now, I will take my leave."
She said with a down casted tone.
"Un."
Clyde nodded his head to dismiss her, but before Syra could even out from earshot, she heard Clyde issuing another instruction.
"Go get change, Syra. A fresh set of clothes was waiting on your bed right now. Used that, and I'll take you to the mall instead so we could buy your clothes. I can't afford to waste my mana procuring those stuff that we could simply buy with money."
"For real????"
Syra squealed in delight when she heard that, as though a little girl that received a treat from Christmas.
"For real."
Clyde replied as he watched Syra departing figure. The other party headed back to her room which was across the opposite corridor from his room
Naomi also ran after Syra, as he was just as curious as Syra was to see what Clyde got her.
"Naomi, don't forget to close the room once you left."
Clyde reminded his cat as he tried to look for a comfortable position on his bed.
"Yes, master. Anything else before I go?"
Naomi asked while his head was peeking through the half-opened door.
"Call me once she was done getting change. We are going outside."
Clyde replied then he closed his eyes after that, implying that he did not want to be disturbed anymore.
"Noted!"
The cat replied right away and then he softly closed the door behind him before going in the direction of Syra's room.
Meanwhile, Syra gasped in amazement as soon as she saw the clothes waiting for her. Just like that other party told her, a pair of fresh clothes was indeed waiting for her in the bed.
There was nothing spectacular in the clothes that Clyde prepared for her but Syra liked its style, nonetheless.
It was as though the other party really knew the type of clothes she usually wore. There was even a new pair of sneakers next to it and when Syra tried to wear it, the shoe fitted her foot just fine as though it was actually customed made for her.
