"How are the clothes, little girl? Is it to your liking?"
Naomi asked as soon as he got inside Syra's room.
"Yes, Naomi. I love it."
Syra replied without bothering to hide her excitement, then she put the clothes next to her to show Naomi how well it looked like on her."
"It suits you very well."
The cat commended, then he headed to the bathroom since Syra's room also came with a bathroom of its own.
"Go and wash yourself. Make it quick. Master Clyde said that we will go outside. So you better make haste before he even got a chance to change his mind."
Naomi advised her out of goodwill and Syra happily did as she was told, then after a few minutes, she emerged again out from the bathroom.
This time, however, she was already wearing a fresh set of clothes. Her hair was still dripping wet since she just got out fresh from the bath.
"Dry yourself with this and give me your old clothes. Let me discard it for you."
Naomi said and out of nowhere, she handed Syra a clean towel.
"Thank you."
Syra, on the other hand, muttered her thanks and accepted the towel. She instantly felt refresh after having a cold bath. Surely, nothing could beat a good bath after a long general cleaning day.
"Come on, little girl."
Naomi beckoned to her after a short while. From the current look of it, it seemed that the cat was actually more excited than she was.
Syra and Naomi headed straight to the living room, then Naomi excused himself for a while so he could go and fetch their master at its room.
Thinking about it, Syra could not help herself but feel quite overwhelmed by joy.
When was the last time she went to the mall to go shopping???
And more to that, for someone to treat her???
She simply did not have any recollection of such an event happening to her. It was the first time that someone thought about buying something for her, so Syra was grateful.
When Clyde walked into the living room, he stopped in his track and observe Syra.
Syra on the other hand, felt her cheeks burning when she realized that Clyde's eyes were on her. But she decided not to react and instead feign ignorance as though she had not noticed them arrived.
"I sure had a good eye on clothes. See? I got you a nice one that perfectly suits you."
Clyde said out of nowhere as he walked past Syra and headed straight at the door, his pet, Naomi was trailing behind him.
"Come on, little girl. What are you waiting for?"
Naomi called out when he noticed that Syra remained standing on the same spot, unmoved.
"Oh right! Coming."
She said more to herself as she snapped back to reality. Going outside, Syra once again realized how surreal the interior of Clyde's residence was.
Outside, no one would even suspect that it was inhabited. If anything, it looked like an abandoned horror house that came straight out from a horror movie.
There were no parts of the house that did not scream dilapidation. Only when one managed to come inside it would they realize how luxurious the place actually was.
The difference between its interior design and its outside appearance was like two worlds apart to the point that no one would dare imagine that they were actually the same thing.
In fact, even experiencing it first hand, Syra still could not believe her eyes.
Due to her preoccupation, Syra failed to notice that Clyde was already walking far ahead of her. He had a transparent bag pack behind him where he put Naomi.
Syra had seen something similar to that before. It was the same pet carrier that fur parents used to bring whenever they were traveling together with their fur babies.
Realizing that the distance between her and Clyde was already increasing, Syra tried to pick up her pace.
"Where are we going?"
She asked Clyde as soon as she caught up with them.
"Bus stop"
The other party told her simply without bothering to look at her.
"A warlock taking a bus???"
Syra asked back.
At the same time, she also could not help herself but be a bit sarcastic when she mentioned the word 'warlock'.
