I followed him into the bathroom. I turned my head as he took of the dirty bloody clothes. Keeping my eyes averted we step into the shower. I close my eyes in bliss when he starts washing my fur. Scraping his fingers through to bring up all the dirt and blood stuck in.
"Rinse"
I stand under the stream and look down at the rust colored water running off my paws. When it runs clear I step back to let De'rax rinse. I watched the water run off his feet keeping my eyes averted. I had the impulse to look but I squashed it. I couldn't look I couldn't.
Stepping out De'rax wraps a towel around his waist and grabs another starting to dry me off. When I'm dry enough by the towel I get the urge to shake. Flinging remaining water out and over De'rax. I here a growl and look up at him.
I start to giggle to see his face. He had started to dry off now it looks like he hasn't started and the towel he is holding is soaked. Along with the one at his waist. I freeze as my eyes see everything. I know I really do blush now. I squeek out sorry and dash for the bed leaving De'rax with a confused look on his face.
I dive for the bed climbing under and back up the blankets.
A few minutes later I hear De'rax enter the room. I keep my eyes firmly closed just in case. I saw more than I needed to before. I feel him climb into bed as the lights go off I relax into sleep.
I wake to the smell of food. I glance around and see Argo sitting by the table holding a cup. I see the table covered in food and I hop out of the bed. Making a beeline for the table Argo sees me and sets a plate down. I can't help but scarf. I know my aunt taught me better table manners than that as a cub but I'm just to hungry.
Argo laughs. "It seems you were hungry huh Kyra? Did the lord General not feed you while you were gone?"
"It was not I that had the ability. We were in a place they only fed us once."
De'rax climbs out of bed and sits at the table taking a plate for himself. Eating just as fast as me. For a few minutes Argo says nothing just patiently waiting for us to eat. As we slow down he starts asking questions.
" Where were you? Neither of the boys could get ahold of Kyra and your com was no help either."
"We spoke to my partner. Afterwards he sent us through a suspicious looking door. I told Kyra to contact Fi'lo but she said she could not get through. She said the only mind she felt was mine. I thought it was because of the distance but no. They had a field up that blocked all communication out of the arena. We were in an arena of sorts. Kyra compared it to gladiator arenas from old earth. I know of no such thing but the image she sent me fit the description."
"What were you there for then? Was it fighting?"
"Yes it was for just that. Kyra and I fought a battle. We had the only meal they served us and then slept. We were awakened for another fight. This continued for I am not sure how long. How long were we gone?"
"You were missing for a week. No one heard from you or seen you. I had Fi'lo searching the planet but no sign of you."
"When we finished as the victors my partner showed up. He said that we had satiated his curiosity. He wanted to buy Kyra from me. I told him that she was not for sale. He did not look very happy with my answer. However he let us leave. Kyra thinks that he may be planning something. He really wanted to purchase her for some reason. I am not sure why. "
" Does he want to use her like he used the two of you? "
" It is hard to say why he wants her."
I can't help but yawn as their conversation starts to dwindle. I have spent to much energy and have not had enough time to replenish. De'rax sees my yawn.
" I think we need to get some more sleep now that we have ate. Argo, I will speak to you more later about our ordeal."
With that Argo takes the empty plates and exits the room. As the door shuts De'rax and I climb into bed and are quickly asleep once again.
