"First Robbery - 2 " °•○●
Before entering Ren's house, he found the most desolate place among the surrounding houses and took off his clothes, which he wore up to his neck. He put it all back in his ring. She wanted to laugh inside, but she wouldn't let herself. He didn't act suspiciously, remembering what his imaginary father had said. It was very important not to step out of a role prematurely in a scam.
He had succeeded!
He ruffled his hair a little and put his usual cowardly expression on his face, and walked to his house.
But he neither ran nor rushed.
Just as he reached his house and approached the door, the children who had just blocked the road rushed into the street, swearing. Ren stood in place as they tried to scrutinize everyone on the street and search for his clothes. Ren's face was filled with very realistic confused and scared emotions.
"Look for this," one said, seeing Ren, and one of the older boys shook his head no. "This boy is very skinny and small. That fuc*er was quite large."
But just as he had finished speaking, the bald-looking boy who had been waiting silently next to him turned and punched the speaker. At that moment, everyone was very nervous, and they were seizing even the slightest chance. "If I said search, do as I say. Search him!"
It was clear that he wasn't the type to talk much from his voice. He even had a somewhat silly facial expression. But she probably believed that orders should be followed.
The boy with a headache called Ren and found only one energy pill on him. There was nothing but the house key. The boy who had been beaten was beaten for nothing. With a very unhappy expression on his face, he made a gesture as if to say you can go to Ren.
In fact, the big bald boy also knew that Ren looked thin. But even though he knew, he felt like he had to control everyone.
The big boy didn't apologize and said "this way" with great anger. And he dragged his entire group behind him and walked away.
They were hurrying around especially to catch those who were in a hurry to enter their house.
Ren also pretended not to understand what had just happened. He entered the garden of his house without haste. With one thought, he tried to open the door. But the door still did not open.
"Come on. At least don't do this to me now! Stupid door, open!"
After six tries, the door opened. The second Ren entered, he slammed the door shut.
"Methods are not so important. In this world, the strong survive..."
He mumbled to himself, standing behind the door.
The boy, pale and pale with fear, just disappeared. Now the face of a smiling, excited and smug boy appeared. Ren wasn't just smiling, he was laughing as he watched out the window. The tense seconds and getting out of danger had created a strange euphoria in his body.
Ren laughed for a while before he could control himself. Feeling that there was not a single bit of energy left in his body, he threw himself on his bed and closed his eyes.
Ren lazily wiggles his index finger and lets the items he'd stolen from his ring spill onto the bed. More energy pills spilled out than he expected.
Ha?
Ren did not understand the strange thing at first. It took him about five seconds of careful staring to understand. Too much.....Ren saw the number of pills and his laziness vanished, and he froze in amazement.
He stopped lying on the bed and stood up, sitting on the bed. This job required some seriousness.
"No way! Why are there so many pills here? How many people has this gangster army robbed?"
There was a lot of light coming from the tiny glass used as a window in his room. He was disturbed by the light and tucked one of his clothes in front of the window. There was still a lot of light coming in. But Ren had nothing to do. He sighed and concentrated again on the treasure on the bed.
He took out a new outfit and tore it into pieces. He draped the largest piece of cloth over the bed to use as a cloth bag. Ren lazily wiggles his index finger and stashes everything back on the ring. Then he let the stolen items spill from his ring into the bag.
Counting the stolen goods was important. At least thats what he thought.
Meanwhile, Ren smiled when he remembered about what he had just been through.
..
Although not a born actor, Ren had read enough books as someone who spent his childhood in the Gan Clan. He even went to watch the theater performances that came to the city from time to time (although it was expensive). His mother and he... they weren't rich. But he lived in a good clan that allowed them to have the luxuries that only rich people have.
So he knew that while acting, the clothes, the demeanor, and even the whole habits had to change. The things he learned about people in his life were always about behavior and business.
He was always educated about real life rather than imaginary or religious stuff. In that respect, the Gan Clan was the perfect training ground for him. What little he learned about these people was key information. It wasn't too difficult to use them at the right time either.
He also recently realized that his imaginary father's teachings are related to the things in the Xarnin Clan's spellbook.
°•○●Scene Creation●
The term was used in the book by the author, who lived hundreds of years ago, when Ren first started energy cultivation. The author of the book learned the term from theaters of his time. Even though Ren didn't know the word, he understood its meaning, as he lived a life of quality similar to the author.
Adding to his imaginary father, the Gan Clan, and Nuren's brief training, Ren was now far ahead of his peers in human behavior.
..
Scene Creation was a technic that said that the actor must first believe in what he is acting or doing. And Ren did it when he was on the street. He literally acted like an overweight, hasty and clumsy person. He acted like he was in a hurry and had to run from his enemies.
First he changed his clothes, and then he turned into someone who couldn't walk or run properly because his feet were constantly tripping.
So even though his ankles and knees hurt a little, it wasn't a big deal.
Also, saying "they will kill me. Its a personal enmity, please hurry" kind of things was a bonus touch.
He walked a little, then tripped and fell, then ran a few steps, then fell again. And while doing this, he threw an energy pill high into the air. It was only natural that a real energy pill would grab the attention of the entire audience.
Just as he had done before, when he came to the boy who had collected the pills, he tripped on the ground and paused for a moment. Of course, that second, while no one was paying attention, his right hand had suddenly approached the bag in the child's hand! He didn't even need to touch it!
Ren had an ancient storage ring. Bringing his hand close to half a meter had taken almost all the energy pills out of the bag in a haphazard manner.
Ren didn't take the bag, but left a pill or two inside. So he knew he would be noticed in a few seconds, if not immediately. That's why he hurriedly changed cloths before entering the house.
In fact, he was afraid that they would recognize his face. That was the only risky part in the whole affair. But he tried not to show his face openly, as he was constantly falling to the ground. Maybe that's why only the big boy suspected him.
Maybe the boy wasn't as stupid as he seemed. Who knows? Despite his almost bald head, ugly eyebrows, and odd facial expression, he was strong. Ren hadn't underestimated a powerful person. He was happy that she had changed quickly before arriving home.
When Ren finished counting, he saw that there were 137 energy pills!
"Holy Nuren!...." He twisted his words and laughed with the joke came out. It was a good pun considering Nuren was a real goddess. Right?
Ren was in ecstasy with the overflowing energy pills.
He had made a huge profit for the possibility of sacrificing one pill. But Ren felt a little bad. These pills were forcibly taken from children who had no sin—or at least very little. Ren wasn't a benefactor big enough to give them back. But this situation bothered him a little.
He added something new to his to-do list. If he had the chance, he would somehow make up for these energy stones to the kids at school.
It didn't matter if he actually did it or not. Even saying false words that he wouldn't do relieved his conscience.
Ren took a pill from the bag with the greedy expression in his eyes. He sat cross-legged in a comfortable place on the bed. He leaned his back against the wall. As it was still daytime, even the wall wasn't too cold. Half a minute later, he forgot about the children he just robbed.
He was now concentrated to begin his energy meditation.
He had a great expectation in mind as he didn't know how much he could improve with 139 pills.
"But I shouldn't improve much. As Nuren said, I must learn all the techniques before I become a level 6 mage."
But somewhere in his head, he thought that life had helped him a lot in some ways and that he was just too lucky.
"So there must be at least one god who loves and watches over me." Thinking of Pandora, Ren realized that he had unintentionally made a second pan and smiled. It was hard not to joke or laugh when he was this happy. That's why it's been harder than ever for him to start meditating.
Ren felt his consciousness begin to break away from his thoughts and slide into his body. All he felt was the energy cycle in his body and the energy pills he used.
His meditation that day was going to be a lot of fun.
