Although he thought that if he ran fast for a while, he thought that the wolf would leave him, but there was a problem. As he started to run, he looked at the scenery and realized that he did not know where he was. He didn't know which way to go. He also realized that he should not go too far.

"I shouldn't leave this area. Otherwise, I will get lost."

A realistic side in Ren felt that he shouldn't have entered a running race with a mighty wolf.

Feeling the growing blood rush behind him, Ren was scared and panicked. Since he had nothing else to do, he sent all his energy to the fire aura meridian in his belly and produced fire energy. When huge moving flames appeared in his hands, he wasted no time in burning a small tree.

Meanwhile, the wolf was getting closer. Ren tried to suppress his fear, knowing that the tree would burn in fifteen to twenty seconds because he had tried before. With the wolf about fifty meters away, Ren was now beside a tree engulfed in huge flames.

"Just be afraid! Don't come anymo... Stop running! Fuck..."

It didn't turn out as Ren had anticipated. The wolf wasn't afraid of fire.

Seeing the coming of the wolf getting closer and closer, he started running without turning back. He had two things on his mind right now that he thought might work. Escape or fight the wolf. But he had to do both at the same time.

Ren swung his right hand lightly and backed away, clutching what he had pulled out in his palm. The wolf got closer and closer. When the ruthless red-eyed animal was only a few meters behind the burning tree, he threw the thing in his hand towards the tree.

Before the animal knew something was wrong, the thing it threw in the air crashed into a tree a few feet in front of the wolf.

Boom!

The explosion immediately hurled a large amount of smoke. The wave of smoke swept away in such a small but effective trail that Ren etched the image in his mind. Despite being far away, even he felt the impact of the explosion and was disturbed.

He didn't have to see how the second of the bombs he had made in the cave exploded. He already knew he was strong enough. But the image of the explosion created by this latter was really beautiful.

He heard the wolf howling in pain and fear. Laughing triumphantly, Ren started running with all his might. He didn't feel like anyone was behind him. Remembering that the wolf had previously spewed hot energy with just its growl and gaze, Ren could still hear the wolf's pained howl that continued. And suddenly he stopped running.

He thought of the section about animals and creatures in the rule book he was reading. In the book, it was written that animals and especially creatures that have dantian have an energy crystal in their bodies. And Ren had read that this piece was very valuable as it could be swallowed directly and used like a spirit stone. The real "spirit stone" that is several times more effective than the energy pills the school gave him!

He had read that these spirit stones were much more effective as they contained the pure energy of an animal or beast.

Ren was more interested than usual, as it was also written that a person who puts this stone in his mouth can absorb energy very quickly. So actually, this crystal was something of great value among disciples. Worth even more than a pill, it could make good money or assist Ren in cultivation.

As he looked at the dust of the explosion with the fires behind him, the greedy side of him suddenly burst out, whispering to kill the wolf and take the animal's crystal. And Ren listened to that side of him.

He moved quickly because of this explosion, which would cause other animals around him to be frightened or vice versa.

It was a frightening and disgusting sight. Ren had to restrain himself not to vomit. He wasn't really feeling well at that moment. But he took a deep breath and continued to study the wolf by the dying tree.

He came running up and saw the wolf lying on the ground covered in blood. It's head was smashed a little bit, it's forelimbs were bruised, and his body was sunken with traces of blows flowing with blood. And the beast was literally self-harming with its last remaining energy. The animal was struggling on the ground because of the pain it had suffered. The wolf was clawing at the injured part of its face to kill itself.

Ren was both upset and disgusted as he stared at the animal he had feared so much a minute ago.

When Ren saw this scene, he wanted to vomit everything he had recently eaten in his stomach. In fact, starting from her shoulders, her upper body was shaken so much that she took a few steps back and started to think that she was disgusted with herself.

He had just thought of running away without thinking about the wolf. Ren could not have imagined this state of the animal. But he hated himself even more when he thought that he could leave the injured animal and go. He waved his right hand and took the largest knife he had. In fact, this blade was technically big enough to even be called a dagger.

He didn't even wait a few seconds to digest the smell of blood. The smells were making Ren feel worse every second. A minute later, he couldn't even stand to stand here. He bent over the wounded wolf, which was struggling on the ground, and in one swift motion he thrust the dagger into the throat.

He had used all his strength to prevent the animal from being thoroughly tortured. It is not known whether it would have made much difference in this state, but he still did not want to torture the wolf any further.

Although the animal's eyes, which did not immediately stop moving, looked blank, its body was still moving. It was a goosebumps experience that the wolf's muscles and some of its limbs were still moving even after death.

Although Ren didn't like what he was doing, he used the knife a few more times, overcoming the feeling of the blade penetrating the flesh. When he was finally sure that the wolf was completely dead, he looked for the crystal that should have been in the area around his neck.

Thanks to the animal's already half-shattered head, Ren pulled the crystal out without much effort. This tiny crystal thing had come out when he was forcefully pulled out of a special knuckle of flesh. There were also some muscles and small layers of white fat. Ren had to cut them with the knife in his hand. But once he reached that little knuckle of flesh, he only had to pull the crystal.

But after this move, Ren has now come to the end.

He leaned over and vomited whatever was inside. He even vomited so much that for a moment it felt like it was never ending. When he finally got up, overcoming the spasms in his stomach, he could barely walk.

Ren moved in a random direction.

...

He spent hours until he got home…at least until he found the mountain where the school was. And luckily, Ren didn't run into any other animals. There were only a few wild chickens. If there had been a healthier time, Ren might have tried to catch these wild chickens and start a small animal farm. It would be nice to have at least free eggs.

But at that moment, even if he never saw a chicken again in his life, he wouldn't be upset. He didn't want to see any animals. He just wanted to go home and sleep.

..

Expecting to encounter other powerful wild beasts, Ren was happy to see none. But it was clearly because of the smell of blood on Ren. Although Ren didn't know it, the beasts had actually held back, feeling the blood and death creeping on him.

Ren was glad to see nothing but a few wild chickens. But even though he wasn't aware of this fact, he had actually passed other animals that night, as scary as the wolf he had just killed. But none of them messed with Ren.

It was morning when he finally got home. It was an hour when the sun started to rise. Chilling with the morning chill, Ren finally relaxed when he came to the door of his house. He ordered the door of his house to "open". He silently thanked the door that opened in one go and entered. The moment Ren entered the room, he took off all the dirty clothes he was wearing. He put on the clean pajamas he had left on his bed and slid under the covers.

In the last two days, he had become a stronger mage, learned a lot of practical magic, and killed a wolf.

But none of them made him feel so strong and secure—as much as lying under that bed.
