Waking up nervously from a strange dream, Ren couldn't decide what he wanted to do that day.

He changed out of the pajamas he wore for the night and picked casual and colorful clothes.

When he felt better with the reflection in the mirror Ren went outside. He was planning to walk to Arc, which he hadn't visited recently.

His eyes were angry, his head was down and his hands were half fisted. He was still 9 years old, after all. He looked like eleven - twelve from the outside, but his soul was only nine.

After the incident with the wolf, Ren felt different. The fears he had felt before walking down this road were now minimal. He wasn't as timid or hesitant as he used to be. He did not change his path when there was someone close to the path he was walking.

Confidence. He was more confident now.

Indifference. He wondered what the worst could be.

With the effects of these two emotions, he no longer looked as weak as before. In fact, when he turned his eyes to those who were whispering, he saw that people averted their gazes and averted their eyes.

It was still the same. But somehow he also gave off a different feeling around him.

Ren knew this from the way the working students spoke when he entered the Arc. Although he was very distracted along the way, he was used to the feeling of never having seen kindness in this shop, so he immediately realized that something was different.

Ren gave the impression of being more dangerous now. He had fought a wolf, the alpha of his realm, who had an aura of blood and death. And during this time, the wolf had constantly attacked Ren with its own bloody aura. And when Ren finally emerged as the killer from this war, he now had the smell of death on him.

Although it was difficult to explain this with smell or something physical, the sorcerers and warriors working on the surrounding energy could all feel it at a glance. For them, the difference between someone who had killed before and someone who had not killed in their own group was very clear and important.

That's why those who spent a few years working with energy could feel people like Ren that smelled of death.

..

After getting some food, Ren decided he could think bigger now that he was approaching level 4. Since he needed energy pills to progress in this school. He would get them too.

"Now I have the power to protect myself. I must not be as afraid as before and start my plans slowly. Of course, I have to make a plan first."

He had made up his mind when he came out empty-handed, seeing so many things he wanted to buy in the Arc and couldn't bear to waste his pills.

First he thought about how he could make money. Stealing, herb farming (alchemy farmer), hunting, trading, gambling... As Ren thought of them all, he realized that he needed people by his side. Although he hadn't paid attention before, being alone was a huge disadvantage.

He should also have known the school better. The resources in the school were insufficient, but there were certain courses. Until now, Ren had never attended a class because he was too scared.

"I never had the courage to go into a place where there were more than two people before."

Ren thought about this for a few moments as he sat in the small park in front of the Arc as he looked around. For a moment he wondered if he was a coward.

He got up and took a few laps around the park. He saw staff walking around, some non-mage or non-warlike slaves, and a few teacher-like figures. Again, Ren realized how lonely he was, dully.

Moreover, a lone mage was even worse.

..

Ren spent a day planning what he needed at least. Deciding that she needed at least one warrior to support her, she sat down in front of Arc and watched the arena as she ate the fruit she had pulled out of her bag.

He couldn't stay here for even a second longer before. People who have a weak impression or are really weak at school are directly crushed and everything is taken away from them. Ren understood this for the first two weeks by constantly watching the window and opening his ears and hearing the screams.

The only reason why such a thing did not happen to him was that he did not go out for a long time because he was constantly fed with the dry food in his ring. The way he walked was that he didn't give people the opportunity to get close to him, and he tried to look very insignificant. He didn't even think that more than one or two people had noticed yet that there was someone staying at his house.

Unlike the other students, Ren was drying his laundry indoors, not in his backyard.

In a comfortable position in the square, he sat by a wall on the ground and watched the people in the field. The lower south road where new students come, the occasional rushed older students from the north, and most importantly the crowds of "Outer School" pretending to be their own!

The most famous of these groups was the group "Bulls", which is a group formed directly by warriors. As funny as their names were, they weren't so funny themselves. Even the energy pills Ren had stolen belonged to them. As the group that blocked the road two days ago, they had great power in the outer court of the school.

Then there was a strange sorcerer-warrior mixed group called "MMM" who did not deal with the outside except for their own business. Although they were more powerful than the Bulls, their methods were different. This group was a group that went out from time to time and thrived by hunting en masse in a mountain or two nearby and selling their produce.

And the last one is "Klions". Unlike the others, this group was not a group where everyone could get protection or enter. They would only accept those they deem talented enough. And it wasn't enough to want to join this group. They were supposed to want you and reach you.

..

Of course, Ren didn't get all this information just by sitting in the square. His ears or eyes also had limits. People don't walk around saying that's me and we can do it on their foreheads.

But Ren was brought up in a commercial clan. He knew that money opened every door. He just had to find the right person.

Ren found himself a channel. Someone who, given enough money, tells everything about the school and does it to new students. An information seller.

Instead of making a normal deal, Ren made a long deal with the boy, like a newspaper subscription. In exchange for a Ding each week, he would deliver every new piece of news to her on a weekly basis. It was not difficult to persuade the boy to such a service.

Ren was taking two energy pills for twenty dings a month. It was also a great opportunity for the seller who had never thought of such a business model. Ren even told him that he would pay extra for detailed information such as the weaknesses of the groups. He wanted to warm things up this way. And when he saw the sparkle in the boy's eyes, he remembered once again that opening the mouth of the pouch a little always works well.

"Money opens every door." It is a famous saying of the Gan Clan.

Ren has done both fresh food and fruit shopping in the last two days. He also got some important work done.

When he got home, he thought the energy pills might work in the future trade network he was going to create. He hadn't touched a single energy pill in the past weeks anyway. He was still cultivating by self-meditating in fear of the wolf's crystal.

He realized that although he was near the fourth level of meditation for several hours of non-stop meditation, he still had a few days or weeks. Maybe even months at worst.

Ren opened his eyes and laid his head on the pillow. He stretched out his feet and yawned in the light from the window behind him.

He lay down on the table next to the bed, looking into his room. Throwing fruit from the bag into his mouth, he thought casually of school and the world he lived in.

A few minutes later, he touched his chest with his hand. He lifted his shirt and looked from the outside to see if his chest was the same color.

Then, when the strawberries he had eaten so fast were finished, he slowly slid under the covers.

His eyes slowly fell as he fell into a deep sleep.

After becoming a third-level mage in record time and reaching the fourth-level cap, Ren had done nothing but lie like this for three weeks.
