"First Day in School of Awei " °•○●
Ren's head was falling down and the little boy was constantly getting closer to falling asleep. He realized that he could no longer stand the lack of sleep. The wood of the fire in front of them was already extinguished as it was not renewed. As the air was getting colder, he was cold like the girl in his arms.
He guessed that the girl didn't have any problems, that she just fainted for a moment with excitement. But what Ren didn't really know was that Ezra was already awake!
Ezra was a cold person who had never approached anyone, male or female, since childhood. Showing extraordinary talent in both magic and combat, he became one of the school's forty inner disciples directly. But today..this girl changed in just one day. In a way that made her forget her cold queen title.
She thought that the boy she was currently lying in his lap was around 10-11 years old (Ren is taller than average). The girl also knew that this boy was an ordinary piece of garbage, incomparable to her talent. But! Her heart wasn't slowing down, her body wasn't getting cold and her blushing was like perminant on her face-not diminishing.
The intensity of her feelings was so deep that even the effort she was trying not to open her eyes right now could be called miraculous.
As the girl's eyelids flickered constantly, the strange and fluid feelings still growing inside her made her worsen and her indifference increased. Every second he opened his eyes and started dreaming of kissing Ren. Now she was planning to hug the adorable body she dreamed of without caring about anything.
Coincidentally, as it was getting colder, Ren decided to use all his strength to carry the girl to the tent. He grabbed the bottom of the girl's legs, who didn't look too heavy, and her back with the other hand. Embarrassed by the hands on the hips of the girl he was preparing to lift, he realized that Ezra was heavier than he had expected. But at that moment, the girl's eyes opened. He couldn't finish as a face that was both scary and beautiful said "Your hand..." again. And
This blonde girl fainted again(!)
Ren was surprised to realize that the girl was pretending to be asleep. But there wasn't much time left until morning. So he didn't have to worry too much.
About three hours passed uneventfully.
Ren couldn't sleep because he couldn't get up. But he was grateful for a hassle-free night. He didn't know if the girl was pretending to be asleep now, so he nudged him a little bit to wake her up.
And the girl, whose eyes widened as he expected started to smile. But before she had a chance to say anything, Ren jumped to his feet.
Her legs, which a girl had been using as a pillow all night, were raw and aching. After all, although he looked like he was about 10 or 11 years old, Ren was just 9. He looked inside the tent behind him and saw that nothing was happening, and called back. "If you pack the tent right away, we can set out. A long road awaits us."
He acted as if Ezra was the one who had to go to the training department and he was a bored official who had to take the girl. Their roles had changed somewhat.
The girl shook her head quickly and scrambled to touch the tent. The tent, which turned into smoke, came together in pieces and turned into a tablet. Assembling the tent was twice as fast as setting it up.
Looking at the tent, which returned to its original state in about 1 minute, Ren also wondered if there was anything like this on his ring. He was almost certain that even though he had a lot of tents in his ring, none of them had this feature.
As the two stared at each other, red-faced Ezra froze as if she had lost all memory. She was staring blankly but excitedly at Ren. She had even forgotten what they are suppose to do now.
Our little Ren started to walk ahead as he couldn't help but sigh. After hearing that the girl was following behind, they continued on their way for a while without slowing down. Ren was always ahead, except for one bathroom break for each of them. The funny part was that although Ren didn't know where they were going, he didn't dare slow down either.
Birkaç saat boyunca aralarındaki tek konuşma Ren'in işaret parmağıyla bekle manasında işaret edip ormana girmesi ve tuvalet ihtiyacını gidermesi oldu. Ne fazladan bir sözcük ne de bir bakış.
Finally, they came to a place where the roads were made wider and more careful. Ren had to stop, as there were roads leading in different directions with a lot of twists and turns. Looking between them, he met eyes with the girl who was staring at his own back. Ezra blushed with excitement as he looked at Ren and had trouble speaking.
Ren had the urge to scream with his full power. Maybe the mountains would answer him and show the road due to his desperation ha?
After a few seconds, the girl broke out into crimson and literally blushed 'like a tomato'. But realizing what Ren was wondering about, she paid a moment's attention to the road ahead. She turned her head to one of the paths to the right. And before she could even open her mouth, Ren said "okay" and started walking again.
The two of them made their way to the training section amid the sprawling waiting booths, watchtowers, and the occasional walkers. Ren didn't realize it at first, but then he sensed something was wrong. Everyone who passed by them or even from a distance was sullen, stern, and especially angry with Ren.
Once again, Ren wondered if this school was as scary, harsh, and brutal as the rumors said. Because William, whom he had met before, was an angelic person.
As he continued to walk, Ren began to suspect that something was wrong. But considering that a strong girl behind him was following a meter or two behind, there shouldn't be a problem, right?
Or is the problem her existence?
When he noticed that the hard-eyed ones were all men, and a few of those still staring turned to Ezra, Ren realized he'd been in a lot of trouble.
But he didn't have the opportunity to do anything about it. They entered through a door of at least 3 meters and headed for a green building to the left of the ground that opened onto a large site area.
Actually, Ren was planning to ask for directions as he had given up on the girl behind him. But since it said "new students" on the building, he headed straight there.
He just wanted to turn to the girl behind him and say, "Okay, now go your own way." But that would be a rude. His mother didn't raise him that way.
"Oh, I don't have a mother. I don't have a father. I don't have a family either..."
Ren also remembered her eyes that were about to cry from yesterday's harsh response. If he made this beloved girl cry among so many people, he would definitely be in trouble. 100% chance. And he didn't want to know what the consequences would be if he made Ezra cry.
He entered the building. There was only one table and one old man in the huge space. There was not a single strand of hair on the man's head. This man had obviously lived with a condition like the lack of hair since he was young. Because the problem was not just baldness. There was no hair anywhere on the man. What eyebrows and beard. Nothing.
Ren called respectfully, trying not to look awkwardly at the man's glowing head.
"Sir, I'm the new student sent because I'm level 1 and-.."
"Take that bag and go to the house that says on the key inside. And read the rule book first!"
Before Ren could even finish his sentence, a loose bag was handed over to him. Seeing the man's weary state of life, he was involuntarily happy. At least nothing strange had happened to him again. Inwardly, Ren happily opened the bag, searching for something that looked like a key.
But there wasn't. He turned to the man and the bald man said wearily, as if guessing what Ren was going to say, "The green tablet with the number on it. Feed it with some energy, it will be allright for a while."
Ren nodded and, before leaving the building, he picked up the tablet and channeled his energy into it. He didn't have much energy, but a bit was already enough. The ring had absorbed in one minute the energy that Ren had accumulated for months. Now that he remembered that time, he realized that the difference was mountains.
The man behind him showed interest in Ren, who was rummaging through his bag, and called out.
"You're an outer student now. If you can't get into the inner court or among the main disciples, all the time you can spend here is 15 years. There are two small tablets in your bag for you to take meridian or energy pills. The markings are different on both tablets. They represent your new arrival, so don't show it to anyone. It..could be dangerous."
"Thank you sir." Ren gave a slight bow like he did to Master of the Gan Clan- Monk. He knew being polite was never bad.
It was just as Ren had expected. The old man was surprised to see the perfect and respectful greeting. Those who came to this school were usually either poor and illiterate. Or rich and smug.
Ren won his small battle. At least he imagined in this positive way.
