Zachary's POV
Earlier…
When he was driving out of the estate, he saw a red sportscar in front of his. Its roof is rolled down so anyone can see its steaming hot lady driver. She has long jet-black hair that is being blown by the wind. She was wearing a black sunglass and a red lipstick. She's beautiful, but her class made her even more stunning. He figured they have the same destination when he saw the University's sticker at the back of her car. He never thought that his first day at this new environment will be this interesting and somewhat exciting. He drove past her and stopped beside her car on the intersection just when the stoplight hit red. He immediately thought of an idea on how to speak with the beautiful stranger.
He saw how beautiful she is up close but not close enough. Before he can stop himself, he already gave her compliments using her car. Out of the blue he invited her to race up to the university's main gate. He was surprised that she was game. Before the light went green, he told her his condition once he wins and again, she caught by surprise when she nodded in agreement. He felt there's a magnet drawing her to him. She's unlike any girl he met. This one is different, he thought.
He was half daydreaming and half driving. No one can beat him in a race. Not his competitors, not his friends, and of course not the stunning lady in red. When he reached The University, he parked his buddy right in front of the stairs of the main building.
He'll look for his new girlfriend later but first he must feed his ego, err his stomach.
He was already eating in the cafeteria when he noticed the girl entered the room. He can tell he was already smitten. He wasn't looking at his food while watching the lady finishes her food and stood up when he suddenly felt his tongue burned. He chewed the chili from his spicy beef meal.
He ran to the nearest water fountain and bumped into someone but he didn't mind. He quenched his tongue with water to remove the burning feeling when someone hit his head hard. Before he can even turn his head to check who was it was, the person leaned close to him and he felt her lips brushed in his ears and she spoke, "Drink a lot and I hope you wet your pants later." When he heard her voice, he couldn't believe it.
He wiped the excess water from his mouth and tried to catch up with the girl.
Andi's POV
"I hate him so much!" gritting her teeth she thought of how to get back with that jerk.
She exited the cafeteria in big strides. She was in the locker room when someone pulled her so she can face whoever the freak it was.
"What the f***?!" she cursed. When she saw who it was, she was caught off guard but only for a second. Game on.
"Watch your language, young lady" the deep voice warned. That's why the picture looked familiar! It was that jerk on earlier.
"What do you want?" she asked him with one hand on her waist.
"What did I do to you? Why you did what you did earlier? he questioned innocently.
"Wow are you serious right now?" she mocked.
"Why, what did I do?" still he innocently asked.
She looked directly in his questioning blue eyes and she saw that he's sincere.
"You really don't know?" she tried to calm herself. Maybe he didn't mean it. Or is he playing dumb because he realized it was her?
"Yes." He is looking at her intently like he wanted to remember every word and move she makes.
She clears her throat. "Okay, let me remind you. First, you cheated during our race earlier." She saw how his eyes went from being curious to clueless. "Secondly, you pushed me in the cafeteria when I was the first one to drink in the fountain." She then raised her eyebrows waiting for him to deny everything she said.
"Whoah…. I did?" he asked incredulously with wide eyes.
"Oh please, cut the crap." She was about to turn her back on him when he stopped her.
"Wait, let's clear these things out first." He was still holding her shoulder when she raised him an eyebrow.
"Nothing's going to be clear because clearly you are denying it," she muttered.
"Of course. I did not know you felt these things."
"What do you mean you don't know?!" she wasn't able to control raising her voice. Some students looked in their direction.
"First I don't cheat. Second, I did not push you." He muttered with a hidden meaning on the first statement.
"What hell did you come from?!" she shouted.
"I told you to watch your tongue." he warned again in deeper voice. I thought this lady is classy. Am I wrong? What the hell happened to her, he thought.
Students were starting to surround them and take photos and videos. But the hell they care.
"You're so full of crap you know that?" She insulted again. She turned to the students and warned them. "Stop this or else I am not going to sign your clearance." But nobody budged.
"One more and I'll punish those filthy lips of yours," he seriously warns for the last time with a hint of danger.
