"Did you make a bet with someone to fool me?" Questioned Andi. "Did you bet that you can make me your girlfriend in an hour or something like that? She further inquired.
"Of course not! What do you think of me?" Surprised by what she has said.
"I'm telling you! You just transferred here. You don't go around starting your first day like this. Don't mess in my campus," she threatened him.
Her attraction to him might just cause her troubles in the future.
Zach was still about to say something when they were interrupted by a voice.
"Hey, Andi! Are you still busy? A guy called a few feet away but now standing in front of them. Andi turned to face him.
"Hey, Andrew. It's you. No, we're just wrapping up the campus tour. What's up?"
Zach's sneered. Why does Andi have to explain to this guy what they're doing? Who the hell is he?
"Nothing. Just got out from the library and saw you."
Zach smirked again. That's old style, punk. I will punish you later for interrupting us. Didn't even bothered to look at me, eh? I also don't care who are you. Duh?
Andi saw Andrew looked at his wristwatch and said, "It's almost time for your Philosophy Class. I'll walk you there." He gently touched my elbow and veered away from Zach. She saw from her vision that Zach watched them intently as if figuring out their relationship. She didn't bother to say anything, and Andrew didn't bother to greet him. She just looked at him and turned away. Their conversation earlier was not that good either. She knows its disrespectful but maybe its for the better. They were a few steps away from Zach when they heard him spoke.
"No. I'll walk her there." Zach said firmly. And before they knew it, he suddenly came in between them and snatched her away from Andrew.
"We still have to talk." He turned to me.
"Dude, I offered her first. Come on, ask somebody else." Andrew cut him off and separated us.
"I was with her first." Zach retorted. "She's the first person I happen to know here and its my first day, so I need her," Zach added. I can imagine a lightning bolt between them like a video game.
"Well, compared to you, I was with her since last year." Andrew mocked.
"That's enough. Don't make a scene." She hissed. These idiots. How dare they argue in front of her.
"Since both of you are busy trying to see whose pee is higher, I'll be going alone. And don't dare follow me."
"But.." Both guy complained.
"Unlike you, I don't have time for this pettiness." As soon as she finished speaking, she turned around and went her own way. Her patience for the day is nearing empty.
"What's with you?" Andrew muttered angrily.
"And what's with you? You just turned my girlfriend away!" Zach hissed at him furiously.
Andrew's eyes turned into a slit and his anger to this guy fueled. "What did you say?" He yelled and collared him.
"I said, Andi is my girlfriend." Zach repeated and pushed him away.
They didn't notice the group of students who was supposed to go into their respective classes but now busied themselves into the two guy's businesses.
Andrew's brow furrowed, "What do you mean? Andi has no boyfriend!" He angrily bellowed towards Zach. Zach is clapping inside since he was able to payback this guy even though he used Andi, though he felt a little guilt.
They heard the students near them exclaimed in shocked and confusion.
"How come? I am the only one she's dating." Asked Andrew in confused deep voice as he couldn't believe what he just heard. This time, Zach was the one surprised but they already heard him so he can't back off. He observed the guy and he felt a pang of jealousy that he's dating her whereas he's far behind.
"She's dating you?" He ridiculed. "For how long have she's been tolerating you? You're not as handsome as me. Why did she date you?" He added in a mocking tone.
"Oh please. As if you're handsome. You're just average. You just met her today and since you look pathetic, she volunteered to tour you. That's how kind she is. Don't confuse kindness into like." Andrew countered. "And I won't believe you unless it comes directly from Andi. Everyone knows here we're dating. But does ANYONE know that you're her so-called boyfriend? Andrew mocked in return.
Andrew was about to leave when Zach spoke, "I will do everything to make her mine. Mark my words." He firmly promised.
The two guys separated ways. The other felt threatened that the girl he loved for a long time might be taken away. The other already started planning on how he will make the girl his.
Meanwhile, there was a group of students nearby who witnessed everything.
"Tsk. Maybe we won't be doing much to destroy Andi's reputation after all," sneered the group's leader.
"But why? We have so much plans laid out for her!" Pouted one of her minions.
"You're so stupid. What she meant is, Andi will destroy her own image," said another minion.
"Yes. That's right. All we need to do is observe. Let them destroy each other and ignite the fire." The leader crossed her arms with devilish smile.
"Let's see how long she'll stay on her pedestal. After her downfall, Andrew will be mine. And for that new guy, I will make sure he will cease to like her ever."
