Although Andi doesn't see him as more than a friend, he's content. She was there when he needed her. When his parents were fighting, he would call her. She will then tell funny and interesting stories that would divert his attention and forget his situation. When people misunderstood him, Andi was there to support him, saying that he shouldn't mind them as they don't know the real me. She kept on motivating me to always give my best and if I can, do not harm others. She said everyone has story to tell. That someone out there feels pain more than I do. That someone out there is more unfortunate than I do. I have both parents and others do not. I am studying in a prestigious school while children in my age struggle for food and deprived of education. I have people around me like drivers, helpers, tutors, etc while some people even strive for work than can pay their daily meals. Andi was a gem. She made me realize that there is more than what I feel now. Than what I'll be and feel in the future is what matters. It depends on my current actions and hoe I see things. That's when I understood her. She look at things in her own perspective, the positive way. She won't let any thing or any one destroy that perspective. That's why I kept her by my side. She's my inspiration. Without her, I'll lose my path. My path, to a better tomorrow.

Zach arrived at the restaurant. When he entered he looked around and easily spotted River waiving his hand.
"Yo, Zach! Come on. I'll introduce you to the guys," called River as he pat the space beside him.
Zach walked over towards their table and sat beside River. River is his classmate in one of his major subjects. They easily got to know each other. River then invited him to meet at this restaurant after school.
" Yo," greeted Zach and nodded to the other guys. He rapidly observed River and his friends and thought that they're fine. River seems a good guy and the same to his friends.
"So, Zach, how was your first day?" asked River with a hint of naughtiness.
He wasn't supposed to answer but he noticed the others were waiting for him. With tired expression, he answered,
"Well, I don't know man. It's crazy," but suddenly Andi's face popped up in his mind and unknowingly he added, "crazy beautiful."
The group broke into laughter and though it was a joke. He didn't realize what he just said and called on the waiter and asked for a beer. He faced the crowd and asked River to introduce his friends.
"Oh, right. Sorry," said River but before he could speak, "I like you already man. Name's Liam" said the guy on the other side of River and patted his shoulder. In front of them are Charlie and Patrick.
Me and River are both Architecture students. Patrick is taking up Business Management but his interest lies in computers. Liam is also a Business student and it was his choice while Charlie is taking up Engineering.
They were all drinking beer and while waiting for their orders, they decided to interrogate Zach.
River who's kind of friends with Andi asked first, "Yo, Zach. What's the deal between you and Andi?" This made Charlie to put his attention at Zach.
Zach noticed Charlie's intent gaze upon him and wondered if he's in trouble. Wouldn't they have me in their group because I was involved in a mess earlier? He observed the guys and they seemed pretty cool. He somehow felt he need to be honest with them or he's screwed.
He swallowed first before speaking, "Ah.. actually I'm not his boyfriend, yet" ... He quickly added. He further explained himself when he saw they're not buying it.
"Well, I saw her this morning driving out the estate and she's driving her red sportscar. The roof was rolled down so I clearly saw her stunning beauty." He didn't sounded himself so he cared his throat before continuing. "And you guys, promise. I never felt like this before. So, I invited her to a bet since I saw her car sticker and I thought she heard me but she didn't." His face might have showed his disappointment.
River chuckled and asked, "What's the bet about?"
He looked at them first before answering, "Don't judge, okay? Well, I invited her to race and if I win she'll be my girlfriend."
They were startled when they heard a bang on the table. They all looked at Charlie but he said, "Don't mind me."
Zach continued, "Clearly she lost and she denied about hearing the bet. But I swear, she gave me a thumbs up. She was eating something when I spoke to her so I'm not really sure. Do you think she's just messing with me?
He let out a sigh. Finally he was able to share that. He has been stressing about it all day with no one to share it with. He wasn't even able to focus at all his class because of it. Earlier, their professor even have to call him several times to introduce himself to class but he wasn't listening making the class laugh at him. It's so embarrassing.
