Chapter 41 - Allocating Attribute Points

By it, I mean the System. That is why having the System is always better than not. It takes care of these little tedious tasks and enforces its rules upon everyone, including Gods and beyond.

Once Alex signs the contract, the Contract Window disappears, and with that, he becomes one of my employees. I can now assign him to an Establishment, and since I only have one Establishment, I assign him to the Subway Station as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

That is the highest rank within an organization hierarchy, just above President. Even so, it is still below my rank, as the establishment rightfully belongs to me. I can change or alter the organization structure as I like.

Alex arches his brow. "Is that it? Was expecting more. Not like that golden light thingy, but you know, at least something, damn it!"

"I see. Okay, here's a cookie. Congratulation on joining my Company," I congratulate Alex and gift him exactly one cookie.

"Fucking…" Alex mutters before consuming the cookie. "I will take it. Still better than nothing. So, what are my benefits? I notice that you did not mention it on the contract."

"I can tell you, but it is better for you to find out yourself," I tell him and return to the rest of the group, as they all hurdle around Jessica in awe.

Well, except for Alice, who is still busy practicing inscribing runes. She is trying too hard to impress me when I already tell her to knock it off. Not in so many words, however. Oh well.

"I'm really heading out this time, and while I am gone, Alex here is in charge. If he somehow disappears without a trace, Jessica is in charge. Actually, Jessica is in charge whether Alex MIA or not. That means, missing in action," I announce.

"Hey!" Alex calls out. "I'd thought that I was going with you?"

"Already said that it is faster and easier if I go alone, but don't worry, if I need your help, you will find yourself elsewhere. Just don't look to surprise, as it might get you killed," I tell Alex, making him even more puzzled. "While I'm gone, why don't you practice with the Runic Stigma or resume what I have asked you to do. There is a reason for that, Alex."

With that, I left the Subway Station once more.

Outside, I open up my Profession Window to have a look at my level. It is sitting at level 6. Even if the System did not inform me on my leveling up like it should have, I have already known that I had leveled up.

This is because my Inventory becomes bigger.

My Inventory is unique. It increases in storage capacity as according to my level, as such, I can store a lot more things when I am at a higher level. Even right now, I have enough spare room to stash a truck within it. By level 1000, I can probably stash a super star cluster and still have plenty room to spare.

I close the Profession Window and opens the Attribute Window. There are 25 Attributes Points for me to assign. 5 per each level. I immediately put them all into my Charisma, bringing it from 15 to 40.

There is no need for any other attributes with my class, as only Charisma affects my skills and abilities.
