Elizabeth went into her cabin immediately after talking to her colleague. She sat on her chair and ran her hands into her hair in tensity. The previous night, Elizabeth provoked Aaron into anger even after knowing the consequences of her actions. Elizabeth didn't know what Aaron was upto this time. No matter what he might expect her to do, she decided not to do something against her will.
"Roseline!!" Sarah called out her name. Roseline turned back over her shoulder, she saw Sarah and Claire coming towards her. "How was the party?" asked Claire as soon as she came to her.
"What party?" replied Roseline with a question.
"The Winchester's party, obviously" said Claire with a shrug.
"Oh!! It was great," Roseline replied with a plain smile.
"You seem off today. You fine?" asked Sarah looking at Roseline's pale face.
"Nah.. I am good..." she answered to Sarah. Roseline has been a bit upset by the way Ryan ended the call. She expected him to talk to her a little longer but instead he ended the conversation abruptly.
"Ohh Hey!!" Claire waved at Ryan, who was passing by them. Ryan halted and had a glance at the girls before waving back at them. "Did you complete the math assignment?" asked Claire. "Well, I've done only a few problems," he replied while they were walking to their class.
"What about you, Roseline?" he asked looking at her. "I didn't start yet," replied Roseline looking everywhere but at him. After reaching the class, four of them dispersed to their respective places and took a seat in the class.
Elizabeth was informed that Aaron was in his cabin. Elizabeth wondered what he wanted her to do this time. She was prepared that he would surely call her through an employee and make her work overtime to complete the pending files by evening. She looked at the clock and waited for him to call her. Just as she expected, someone knocked at her door.
"Come in!" she said .
The woman was John's secretary. "Good Morning, Ma'am. Mr. Carter asked for your presence in Mr. Winchester's cabin," informed the woman. Elizabeth nodded, her lips were stretched to one side of her face, as if she knew what was going to happen.
After knocking the door, she heard John permit her to come inside. "Did you check the project file?" he asked her. Elizabeth had a quick glance at the file and also at Aaron who was going through another file without sparing a glance at her. Elizabeth tilted her head to her uncle and answered, "I did."
"Did you find any mistakes in it?" he asked her.
"I cross-checked the plan and made a few corrections," she answered.
"Mr. Carter, could you please pass me the project file?" Aaron asked John. "Take a seat," said Aaron to Elizabeth after taking the file from John.
Elizabeth sat opposite to him and waited for him to look at the file. "I am sure, he will point out something," Elizabeth thought in her mind and rolled her eyes.
"There are few mistakes," he said looking at John.
"I knew it!!" she thought but looked down when John glared at her. "There were only a few and I already rectified them," said Aaron placing the file back on the desk.
"Ahh!! That's... That's good," John replied and looked at Elizabeth, "You can leave now."
Elizabeth was a bit surprised that Aaron didn't even bother to look at her. She thought, he would point out her mistakes and blame her but nothing turned out the way she expected. Elizabeth got up from her seat and had a quick glance at Aaron before leaving, he seemed least interested to look at her. After returning to her cabin, she saw three missed calls from Liam and phoned him. "Sorry, I didn't see the phone. Did you find anything?" asked Elizabeth with curiosity.
"I found few clues. The people whom I doubted must be having a connection with your mother and Margaret," he replied.
"Who are those people?" Elizabeth asked him.
"I'll tell you in the evening. Meet me at the restaurant where we met last time," he replied.
"Alright!!" Elizabeth replied and ended the call. Elizabeth knew that dealing with a case which was already closed due to pressure given by higher authorities might be difficult. But no matter what might happen to her, she was determined to find the real culprit.
Roseline was looking at Ryan from time to time while the class was going on, since morning. On the other hand, Ryan didn't even look at her for once. During lunch hour, Roseline went and sat beside Claire. While her friends were busy talking, Roseline's mind was filled with Ryan's thoughts. She kept thinking if she was over expecting things from him.
"I'll go back to my place," said Roseline to her friends after she had her lunch. "Why?" asked Sarah in nonchalance. "I'm sleepy," she replied and got up from Claire's place. Roseline rested her head on the bench after going back to her place. She noticed someone placing a book on her bench, when she took a closer look, she saw that it was Ryan. Before she could ask him why was he giving her his notes, Ryan left without uttering a word. Roseline tried to call him but by the time she could call him, he was with his friends. Roseline opened his notes and found a note written by Ryan. The moment she read the message he wrote for her, the thoughts she had on her mind since morning, disappeared and a smile took over her face.

With a smile on her face, she looked at Ryan who was surrounded by his friends but this time, his eyes were fixed upon her. Roseline gave a nod as a yes and turned away from him when her blush went deeper. In the evening, after the last bell was rung, the students rushed out of their class rooms like any other day. As soon as Roseline's friends left, she took out her phone and informed her mother that she would be late. After taking permission from her mother, Roseline went to the back gate and saw Ryan on his bike, waiting for her.
"Where are we going?" she asked him.
"Where do you want me to take you?" he replied with a question.
Roseline gave a thought before giving an answer to him, "How about a long drive?" she replied, getting on his bike. "As you wish," Ryan chuckled.
Elizabeth looked at her watch, it was seven in the evening. She packed her bag and was ready to leave to meet Liam. Since the time Liam informed her that he found Clues, she has been curious to know about the people he referred. After coming out of her cabin, Elizabeth came across Aaron who was on a call. She Noticed that he was serious and a bit shocked while talking on the phone. She tucked her hair behind her ear and shifted her gaze upon him but before she could walk further, a call from an unknown number made her pause at that moment. Elizabeth picked up the call and looked petrified when she was told that Liam met with an accident.
