Chereads / The Unwilling Heir / Chapter 57 - Finally, Something to Prove

Chapter 57 - Finally, Something to Prove

Again, same process, you know the drill. Go into an unknown room which is named a classroom and get shut in until one of the noble heads aka our teacher comes and bothers to teach while we sit there silently thinking.

Now the teacher of this class will be one of the Zevary heads, if you think about it it's obvious, Hu, tick, Coltus, tick, what's left? Zevary! Just a matter of simple deduction.

There was really nothing to think about from the previous class as it was just hand to hand so I went with the next option.

"How did you lose to a girl Dominic?"

Might as well bruise the moody boy's ego.

He, as expected glared at me.

"She's not human!"

He said back with a frustrated voice and hid his head with his arms.

"Of course she isn't, she's a myth,"

Throwing logic right back at your opponent is the most basic strategy to throw someone off. Eleanor noticed this and started to struggle to hold in a smile. How do you tell? Because their lip movement is more then average, a lot of pursing. She continued to watch our one sided conversation.

"As in she doesn't have a normal girl's skill."

"Obviously, she's trained since young,"

I said back, and so has he. Once again he leaves himself open for attacks, think about your words Jackal.

"From the looks of it she could beat both her brothers!"

Ahhh there we go. Finally.

"Yes she could, because her brothers are busy studying but she on the other hand ran away before burden could be out on her shoulders,"

"What? Ran away?"

He looked totally confused, idiot. He didn't study social economics in depth.

"Aren't you the heir to Rushell? Pay attention in your economics classes,"

I said to him in an exaggerated tone. He seemed agitated beyond words, haha.

"Hahaha,"

We heard laughter bursting out near us and a few chuckles here and there. Fox seemed to be laughing her head off at her fiancé and Lioness was chuckling at the antiques of our conversation.

"Sister, you have to be kidding! That guy is your fiancé? I thought you were pointing to Michael! He can't keep up with you!"

She said staring daggers at him while chuckling dangerously.

"And why can't I keep up with her?"

He answered back, sight, bad move, should've just kept silent. Anastasia is a literal lioness when you anger her.

"You've got guts Jackal,"

She said starting to start up.

"And you don't intimidate me one bit,"

He planned to meet her in the middle.

A foreboding air shadowed the room but then shattered at the sound of a foreign voice.

"Alright children, calm it down,"

A female voice cut through the foreboding air of the room and a few claps cleared it all together while also getting the attention of everyone in the room. Dominic and Anastasia still stood and were ready to continue the moment her eyes turned but apparent she wasn't keen on that happening. She stared the two back down to their seats.

"Alright, it looks like we are ready to start."

Standing in front of us was a woman with light blonde hair, fair almost translucent skin and without a blemish in sight. Her elegant neck then lead down to the neck line of a dress and that continued down to her bare legs which then continued further to the heels she stood on. She and Fox were basically the same except she had light brown eyes and fox had blue ones. You probably already figured it out but I'm going to say it anyway. The similarity is because she is Fox's mother I'll let her do the rest of the introducing.

" If you don't know me yet I am Madeline Amirault Zevary, female head of Zevary. Now as you all should know the Zevary are a stereotypical business family that go way back, so far that back then we were known as a merchant family,"

Stereotypical my ass, your basically the business that runs all other businesses, in what way is that stereotypical??

"Now these lessons you will be leaning about manipulation but not in the way you might think. I trust that you all paid attention in history class and learnt about spirit blood. You will be learning to manipulate your spirit blood in a way that is beneficial and safe. We will get more into that as lessons progress as the actual manipulation is in the advanced stage."

Well then, I'll finally be getting my proof and maybe uncover some secrets. I thought our blood was too diluted though, because of the generation over generations of diluting the gene pool I'm surprised we can still do something with it. This is just like cliche fantasy, I feel like I a character in a book, not that I'd feel like being manipulated by an author thank you very much.

(Author - too bad sucker!)

"Throughout this process the main point will be theory, you will need a lot of theory so that you have a deep understanding of what it is you will do in a practical lesson, this will keep you from injury and idiocy. "

Idiocy, nice word to use. Makes you seem so... professional.

"Now, first thing first. Since you've already learned about spirit blood there is no use going through it again so I'm going to start with the explanation of activating it.

First you need to be aware of your blood circulation. Have you all memorised the blood circulation route?"

"Yep,"

One person answered and obviously it was the genius doctor of the group, lioness. The rest of us, well at least I was trying to remember the last biology lesson I had on the human body. I know all the basic stuff but the exact blood circulation? No way.

Then as ms Zevary was preparing to speak again I grimaced at her predictable next words.

"I want you to memorise the blood circulation by next week,"

Oh god, here we go again. Memorising the intricate blood circulation route in a week. How I'm going to manage that? I don't no yet. I'll figure it out as I go along.

"For now lets start with augmentation. Since we all know that augmentation is adding something to make a greater outcome. We will start with our aural and then move to other senses. Now write a hundred word paragraph on how the war works."

She said that while handing out lined sheets of paper onto our desks. This is going to be a long lesson.
