The gates had opened as if it was waiting for our arrival. It was huge, huge like heaven's gate, of course, I had no idea what a heaven's gate looked like. But it was magnificent just like those places you would see only in dreams or the afterlife. "Am I dead?"
Until a moment ago, I remembered being excited to meet Prakash in the park in our neighbourhood. After waking up and having lunch, I took out my phone after ages and replied to a few texts, and there was also a message from Prakash. I replied to him saying I was alright and asked how his state was. Because I knew that it could be tiresome. Although it did nothing troublesome, to accept things as it is was itself tiresome. As we were exchanging texts I told him that it was desperation that led me to teleport to places. I was perplexed when he asked me if I was desperate to go to his room in Hyderabad too. I might have sounded creepy, I left him seen-zoned.
I saw him passing by our house through the window. He seemed to be in a rush, I stared at him walking to the corner of the street. The park to the right was his and his friends' hangout spot. I thought he was meeting with Kaasi as other buddies of his were all out of town.
But I got a call from Prakash.
"To the park, right now!"
I quickly changed my dress and washed my face. As I was done with my hair, I had this sudden pull. It couldn't be happening, I was not in the urge to teleport. Moreover, I was completely awake and not even feeling dizzy. It was confusing, I was already ready to meet Prakash, then why would I teleport? It was not even too far from my house, we were meeting right there in our neighbourhood. "OH DAMN!", I swore aloud. I bet, my mother would have heard that. "Mom, I am going out a bit!", was the last thing I said before it happened.
Yes, I teleported, while wishing to go to Prakash. I was annoyed and surprised to have landed in a strange place. I knew I was grateful to this 'mysterious power' for helping me meet Prakash, but it was not completely useful. Only if I could control this power, I would have been on cloud nine. Was I even supposed to be this happy? Because nothing is free in this world. What could it be, the consideration for this power?
"Yo!"
"Prakash?", I was baffled.
"I didn't know our park could be this... Grand!"
I covered the right side of my face with one hand and another resting against my waist, I stood there as dumbfound as Prakash was. I hope he did not hate me for this. He was staring at the gate, then told me, "I don't hate you for this."
A breeze at the garden, yes, it seemed like a garden and there was this gate in the middle of the garden not really fascinating. But it looked out of the world. The fragrance of the flowers around me was dreamy, now that I noticed the garden, the flowers were so unique and were in various colours. The breeze that the air carried was ticklish and everything in the garden put my mind at ease.
"Should we go in?", he pointed out the gate.
We were not sure what the gate led us to, hesitantly, I touched the gate and took my hand out hurriedly. The gate opened and the other side of the gate was unlike the garden looked like an interior of a palace. We stood at the threshold and took a glance at the garden and the other side of the gate twice. From the thin air appeared a child with fresh air like eyes and silky brown hair, he took our hands and led us in. I found my jaws wide open looking around the place. "Where are we?"
The child looked at me and giggled with squinting eyes, pulled me further playfully. We went through numerous gates, behind each door, there was something like a cloud of smoke around in different colours. When we entered each door, a child jumped from the coloured cloud of the gate and joined us to the next door. The kids were all giggling and the sound echoed throughout the path like jingles.
As we reached the last gate, behind the gate was furnished with a huge snow-white throne. A red clouded mist formed around the throne and when it had disappeared, a man in black blind appeared on the throne. His skin was pale and he was lean bright red-haired. His pasty-face stood out in the black clothes he had on him. He was modern indeed, adorned in ornaments like earrings, pendants and rings. He had enchanting looks which were ethereal.
He rose from the throne and walked upright with his eyes tied in blinds and stopped in front of me, "Welcome to the Mystic Throne!", he then turned towards Prakash to smile at him. The kids cheered at the person who looked like their boss.
