All creatures big and small were frantic in the forest as a new creature had arrived there. The creatures spread the word far and wide in the forest making the creatures very chatty.
The birds were chirping and tweeting while the ground creatures were scurrying to get a look at the new comer.
My feet thumped softly against the forest floor as I tried not to step on the beautiful flowers and fern that covered it. It was beautiful but the more I walked the more dense the forest became.
I looked up ahead and seen a root was in my path, I put my hand on the root and went under it. The wet bark was cold under my hand, I pulled my hand away from it and continued on my journey through the unknown territory.
After a while I came to a halt when I heard something scurry behind me. I turned around quickly on my guard but there was nothing there.
I tilted my head in confusion.
"Huh..."
A Yelp escaped my mouth when I felt something touch the back of my leg, I jumped away and looked over at what touched me but there was nothing there.
I felt fear start to well up in my chest as I started to speed walk out of the area. I walked under huge roots and pulled myself up and over one of them until I made it to a clearing.
My eyes widen as I looked at the meadow! The bright green grass went as far as the eye could see but the green grass was also filled with a very vast range of color full flowers.
It was kind of like the place were the Cat god lived but just more vast. It was huge. I smiled as I started to make my way through the tall grass and flowers but often stopped to looks at some beautiful flowers I had never seen before.
The smells were amazing, it was if the smells went straight to my head and quelled my fear from before. it was relaxing here. It felt like the world had just stopped... When I felt I was far enough from the forest I gently laid back into the grass and looked up at the sky.
I rested my hands on my stomach as I watched the clouds fold and move together in the sky making different shapes. After a while the clouds moved out of the way of the sun I could feel it's rays melt into my skin making me hum softly.
It was warm, it was peaceful. I closed my eyes as I felt a breeze flow through the grass and my hair. I could stay here forever... the more time I spent there the more tired I got, until I finally fell into a peaceful slumber.
