The halls of Liang Realty is in disarray as every body is scrambling to their proper places. Word in their office grapevine spread that their devil of a boss is arriving in 10 minutes.
Avery Liang is well known to be unforgiving to those who slack in their work. She has fired many employees and shamed so many suitors. She is a hard woman but she rewards her employees well.
Exactly 10 minutes on the dot, the doors of a red Aero opened to reveal a stern face. The lady is beautiful but has a strong aura. She carries herself well and the click clock of her heels can be heard as she enters the company.
"Good morning CEO Liang" Her secretary, Lindy Su, greeted her at the door. Other employees in the area greeted her as well. She just nodded and directly walked to her private elevator.
"Ma'am, you have a meeting with the mayor at 10 o'clock and a luncheon with JM Construction's president for your collaboration to develop a mountain based hotel and resort." Lindy immediately started with her schedule for the day as she knows her boss hates to waste time.
"Any news on our commercial complex development?" Avery has also started a commercial development in T City, dubbed as a city within a city since it offers a complete package from residential areas, malls, hospitals and the like.
"The construction is progressing on time. We can schedule a site visit this week if you want." Lindy hurriedly opened the door to their office.
"Hmmmm..." Avery said nothing more and dismissed her secretary. She looked at the windows of her office to see tall skycrapers which are the product of her hardwork.
She knows that her employees label her as an icy bitch but in this cutthroat world of business, you have to be brutal to your enemies.
Her day went in a blur of business transactions and before she knew it, it was already dark in the office. She was preparing to go home when her phone rang.
