Long dark hair with a purple tinge flowing as the wind passes her, she had a shapely figure and looked young, around the same age as I was. Her eyes were a blue that seemed to pierce the heart of whomever she laid her eyes on, a dainty nose and velvety eyelashes . She looked like a human but clearly not from this world. To call her beautiful would simply be an understatement. Her outfit was White with purple accents here and there, an odd looking top that clearly wasn't casual and a white skirt with a purple line going across the end of it and black leggings.
I was overwhelmed by the sight of her but I knew now was not the time to get distracted.
"Who are you?" I asked firmly from the mysterious girl.
"To put it simply, on your world I'm what your people consider 'God' and I'm here for you." She replied.
"Seems kinda cliché."
"What?"
"Never mind. So you wanna kill me? I won't go down that easy!" I said with confidence but for all I know this girl probably has experience in killing and fighting and only today I found out how fast and strong I was. To be honest, I was terrified.
"Then show me your sword!" She shouted.
"mY WHAT?!" I replied in shock.
"Your weapon, fabricate your sword so we can fight." She replied while creating a black sword with glowing purple lines out of thin air while a purple aura glowed around her.
With a red face I said "O-OH…you meant…an actual…sword…"
"Pervert!" she shouted while her face turned red as well.
I didn't know how to make a weapon but based on what I did earlier, it seemed I only needed to concentrate on what I needed to do and in this situation I just needed to create a sword out of thin air, easy enough right? To my surprise I had a sword in each hand, I guess it really was all that easy and all I needed to do was concentrate on it. The odd part was that I have never used a sword before in my entire life…but it felt like I had years of experience in using them.
Before I could devise a plan of attack, she rushed towards me with a gush of wind behind her and the distance between us was closed in a split second. She swung her sword at me while holding it with both her hands. I reversed the grip on my right sword and raised it up to defend myself and our swords clashed in the air with sparks. Immediately after the clash I leaped backwards and took a stance as if I were to attack, with my left foot and sword forward and my right foot and sword behind me.
I sprung forward and attacked with my right sword first which she managed to block, I then immediately attacked upwards with my left sword which she also blocked but this time it she sidestepped and quickly swung her double handed sword towards me at an incredible speed which I barely managed to deflect in time. She was strong, I felt the impact of her strike throughout my entire body.
She kept on attacking one after the other, though she herself had incredible speed, I still managed block in time as its easier to move with 2 one handed swords. However she was still too fast for me to counter her attacks. After a few more attacks I noticed that she was starting to slow down. This was the perfect opportunity to make a move. I managed to block her attack with both my swords which enabled me to disarm her. Her weapon flung to the right and hit the ground. I went in for a kick which she managed to block with her arm but the impact of it threw her to a wall which also broke from the impact of her hitting it.
I discarded my swords and picked hers up to kill her with her own weapon. However as I picked it up, yet again something unexpected happened. It felt as if I was transported somewhere else except that wasn't the case. In fact, was seeing her memories. It wasn't exactly clear but I could understand what was happening. She was being threatened by someone for trying to interfere with a race that was driving themselves to extinction.
"If I don't do anything they'll die!" she exclaimed.
"You have no authority to interfere with their lives! If you disobey the Higher Council's directives, we will take incentive of destroying your whole Universe and you along with it!" he said as he struck his weapon into the ground beside her. With these memories of hers I also learnt about the higher council and what they were like. They didn't permit those who protect the universes actually protect them from themselves, it was just an almost meaningless title. The only meaning it had was these "protectors" defended their own universes from other universes that invade them if at all it ever happened.
She was heavily wounded, it seemed to be that they had been fighting. It was after seeing this that I realized that everything I believed until now was wrong. I regained consciousness and her sword fell out of my hand. I walked towards the girl, she was on the ground trying to get back up. I fell to my knees in front of her and started apologizing.
"I-I'm sorry… All my life I thought that if there ever were 'Gods' in this universe that they didn't care about what happened to us…but after I picked up your sword I saw that you really did do everything in your power to try and help."
"No, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything to help Earth…or any other planet in this universe" she replied.
I stood back up and she said "I don't want to kill you, clearly you're stronger than I am therefore you should be the one to protect this universe"
"No one needs to kill anyone, together we can become stronger and overthrow the higher council." I replied. I didn't want to kill her either, her motives were the same as mine.
"How can you be so sure!?" she said while her eyes filled with tears. At this point I genuinely felt a sense of sorrow for her and I wanted to help her in anyway I can…specially since I had the power to do so now.
"I'm not sure…all I'm saying is its worth a try."
"So what? I stay here with you and become stronger?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying, you don't need to bare it all on your own anymore."
She burst into tears and held onto me, the only thing I could do was hold her as well.
