*SAYURI SCHREIBER *
What is Mitsuru doing in the middle of the night? It's scary... He is screaming and shrieking his lungs out, that it's bursting my heart to beat faster. Everyone froze around him, unable to think because of the echoes of his horrifying and painful screams.
A few teachers came out to help him, Maehara was standing there, but his face was unresponsive.
Sounds of loud banging from Mitsuru harming himself. Mr Shintaru finally came out and stopped him. Mitsuru froze, and looked around, it was like he was in a confused state. He panted hard as he was dragged up. He had a frightening panic attack. He cried and cried, "STOOP!! Let go!! I don't wanna go through that again!!!" The teachers were about to take him back inside... but before they could do that...
"Let go of me!! I'm a monster!!" Mitsuru snatched himself from them and ran.
He froze when he was face to face with everyone's shocked faces, staring at him... as if he was indeed.... a monster!...
"Mitsuru! Stop!!" Shintaru called out to him, but Mitsuru immediately ran off into the forest. I had to go after him!
I headed to that direction, when someone suddenly pulled my arm back, from behind. "Don't follow him! There's nothing you can do!"
"Shut up! You don't know him! You just think he's a monster!" I yelled as I felt those words pouring out of me, as if I've been telling myself that all along. I snatched my arm away from her. "He's going to hurt himself!" I raised my voice as I ran, I didn't want to someone to hear me but I was saying that to myself.
I ran as fast as I can! Hoping that I could find him unharmed!

Mitsuru ran far in to the deepest, darkest part of the forest. He bumped into a few trees but his heart was full of fear, that his fear almost squeezed his heart inside. He couldn't control the speed of his sprint. He couldn't think about stopping until...
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! NO!! DON'T DO IT!! NOT AGAIN!!"
It looked like Mahiru, standing infront of him, smiling down at him. The look on her face reads....
"I want more..."
"NO!!" He looked up but she disappeared... again...
Mitsuru cried desperately, holding himself from falling into the deadliest abyss of his mind, he swayed his body, left and right. His feet remained stuck on the ground, he lifted his head up as he cried. "No...! I don't want this!!... please.... Stop..." he began sobbing like a lost ghost, who can't go back to life... Except he was the opposite... a living human, who just wanted to go back to death...
Sayuri began running towards Mitsuru's cries, after running long and hard, she finally found him. Mitsuru collapsed down his knees, bending down in a prostrate position, crying.
"Misturu..." Sayuri called out gently, looking down at him in sorrow.
"AAAH!!" He became startled as he looked at her and shuffled himself away from her. Shaking and gasping as he crawled away... he couldn't recognise her, he thought that she was one of the delusions which came from Mahiru.
But Sayuri tried to calm him down and comfort him. "It's ok... It's ok.." She finally hushed him quiet as she approached to him slowly. However, Mitsuru's breathing eradicated. "Breathe in slowly..."
"I-I-I-I can't!.." His panic attack made him harder to speak.
*SAYURI SCHREIBER *
I didn't know what to do to help him. He's panicking alot more now, and I don't know how to stop it... I have to calm him down. So I held him gently, by wrapping my arms around his nape, gently hugging him towards me but he was stiff... I continued to hold him gently and I sang the song...
He didn't calm down straight away but he stayed quiet in my arms. His head was now resting on my collar, he was breathing slowly. It felt like he was falling asleep.
Mitsuru wasn't shaking anymore, he wasn't scared anymore, he looked so... peaceful.
"Why are you doing this?" He finally spoke after I finished singing.
"I promised, didn't I?..." I rubbed his head gently, stroking my fingers through his white, curly hair. He turned around and rested his head on my lap.
"That means... you won't betray me... Right. ..?" Why would he think that I would..? I know what it feels like to b betrayed by someone close to you...
"Of course I won't... I will never betray you..."
"But! What if you!-" Mitsuru was anxious as he lifted his head up in desperation.
"I'm the only one who came after you, right...?" He laid his head down, he refused to question it anymore.
It was silent... but I began to sing to him softly...Until he fell asleep.
*TOSHIRO SHINTARU *
I arrived just before their conversation, but I stayed put and distanced myself from them. I didn't want stir things up and waited till the mood was peaceful. I am still shocked about what happened to Mitsuru and what he did. His screams echoes my mind... I would never think that he would go crazy...
I can't stand here forever, I'm sure he's calmed down enough. So, I took my first step. "Sayuri."
She was startled by my presence and said, "Uh!- M-Mr Shintaru! What are you doing here?..." She said in a soft, gentle yet high tone of voice.
"Come on, it's time to go back..." I aimed my flashlight at them.
"Ok... but-" She was about to oppose my decision but then a scream from Mitsuru startled us both.
"NO!! Leave me alone!! I DON'T WANNA GO BACK!!"
"Mitsuru!! Calm down!!" Sayuri reassured him as he glanced at me. He glared, with the light reflecting into his eyes, I saw it... The red, bloody eyes that have seen the souls of death...!
It gave me shivers down my spine. This guy is a wild beats, screaming and slamming his head with his fist. Though, Sayuri tried to calm him down, he still refuses to listen. So, I had to take action, I couldn't stand to see him like this.
"Mitsuru!!" I grabbed his arm and looked at him, dead in the eye.
His face traumatised, the reaction he gave me was even more frightening. He was on his feet. But his bloody eyes and his cold, pale face was enough to terrify me.
But this isn't the time to be shaking in fear, I had to do something, if he isn't going to see listen, then I'll have to resort to take him away by force.
"That's enough, you psychopath!! Stop crying about everything! And control yourself!"
He gave me the same glare, but suddenly bent down, hammering his head with his fists.
"ARGH!!....Control?!... Control?!!" It looked like his head was hurting him, he began screaming again.
"This guy is going insane...!" I yelled out. I've never seen anything like this... I'm trying to help him, but he just wants control over his life... when he can't even control himself.
"Stop! Just stop! You're pressuring him!" Sayuri yelled in the midst of this chaos.
Oh? So, it's my fault now... Damn! What can I do?... He's not talking to me, he's just screaming. I don't have time to take care of this baby in the middle of the night.
"Everything was just fine!"
Mitsuru began running away and headed deep into the forest.
"Mitsuru! Wait!"
Sayuri went after him and I just let her go... But first... I need to do something about that crazy kid.
*SAYURI SCHREIBER *
I ran and ran as far as my legs could carry me, I searched and searched. Until I stopped. I saw him, from a distance. Standing infront of me.
"Mitsuru!" I ran towards it... and he was gone, once I reached there.... but I'm sure he was right here!
At that state of confusion, I heard a bang! And another. Then another. It went on repeatedly. So, I chased after the sound... it was Mitsuru, banging his head against a tree.
"Mitsuru! Stop!" He didn't listen, it was as if I wasn't even there.
Before, he could hit his head again, I placed my hand infront of his forehead, to stop him. Instead of hitting himself, he hit my hand, really hard. I was surprised by the amount of force he used to hit himself.
"Hey... It's me. Calm down." But he didn't seem like he was calm, he was shaking and sweating but he remained quiet.
"...leave me alone..." he held me by my wrist, and looked at me daringly... But he couldn't hold it in, and tears began to form in his eyes.
He broke down in my arms, sobbing quietly. He doesn't truly want to be left alone... Yet, he's pushing everyone out just to save them from the monster inside...
No matter how strong, big or scary that monster is... I'll always be there... By your side..
"It's ok..." I held him gently. I felt his breath on my neck, and I had a strange feeling inside, like... butterflies in my stomach..? I don't know... but I felt steamy..
We both slowly sat down by the tree. I felt very nervous as Mitsuru laid his head on my shoulder.
"I'm tired..." He said quietly.
"Me too..."
"I'm feel... sick and tired... So...tired.. I can't.. take it..." He sobbed as he embraced me in a hug. I let him cry silently. But then he stopped, and said, "...sing."
What?... Again! Well, I can't do anything about that, can I?...
I began to sing, but slowly and surely... Mitsuru fell asleep. Yet I was in a position where I can't get up, and my shoulder is aching! And I'm so sleepy!! I don't know what to do!
When, suddenly, I saw a flashlight in the distance. It was Mr Shintaru, I tried to wave at him to grab his attention, but I was too tired and thought it was pointless...
I re-awoke! From a mini-blank-sleep!... By Mr Shintaru's stupid flashlight I am now awake!
"Is he asleep?.." He asked as he bent down to his knees infront of us.
"Yes."
"Wake him up." What?! After all this time, he's now finally calm and asleep! And NOW you wanna wake the beast up!
"What?! Why?"
"I'm taking him to the hospital."
"Why?.." I said with a worried expression.
"Because he's mentally ill." Shintaru spoke in a firm and serious tone. "So, wake him up!" He snapped his fingers at me to keep me awake from falling to sleep... Coz I wasn't listening to him at all.
I slapped Mitsuru's face, "wake up..."
"I'm already awake..." Mitsuru smiled but his voice sounded strange. It was more deep and sturdy, maybe it's because of the amounts of screaming he did...? "Ah! Finally...~"
He got up, stretching his arms up. "It's finally time...!" He stood up before me and raised his head up at the night sky, smirking, "Ah!.." He sighed. "It's good to be back...!'
What?....
"Come on. Let's go." Shintaru stood up and headed back.
"Where are we going, teach?!..." he said amusingly.
"The hospital... Come on."
"Yay! Let's go!"
They both just walked away, and I sat there all confused....
What... just happened?...
To be continued. . .
