Sunlight peeked through the curtains, as the sun slowly rose higher to the sky. Raising his hand, he blocked the sunlight off his wife's face afraid that it might disturb and wake her up from her sleep. Nevertheless it still not worked as she squint her eyes before she opened it slowly.
"Hmm…what time is it?" She groggily asked as she rubbed her eyes
"It's past 6, Dear" Sigh, first things first in the morning is to ask what time is it. Where's my 'good morning'?
"By the way, good morning~ it's a pity though, I can't admire my wife's cute face when she sleeps anymore."
He smiled widely as he saw his wife's face slowly turning red but he was caught off guard by her retort.
"I-It's not that you can't admire me anymore, we have a lifetime to be together… lifetime has many mornings like this…" She said, her voice fading away as he remained staring at her unmoving. Well, no matter how long they've been together already, she's still not used by her husband's charm so she couldn't help but turn her head away due to embarrassment.
Sensing his wife's sudden silence, he snapped back to reality, hey that was the first time she said something like that and he really was not ready for it.
Teasing mode turned on.
"Heh? Didn't thought you have something like that in mind. Then we also have a lifetime to give and receive kisses right? Now where's my good morning kiss?"
Blushing again, she reached out and held on his shoulders as she leaned closer, giving him a quick peck on the lips then quickly scrambled and get out of bed.
"T-that's enough, we need to get ready we still have work." Sigh, he could only pout in disappointment.
Well… there are more mornings to come so he'll let her go. Just. This. Time.
