Keishi was reading a book when a soft knock came from the door before it was opened. A soft smile covered his face when Hinari, his 4 year old daughter came in "What's the matter honey?"
Asked him as he closed the book, putting it on the bedside table before beckoning her to come to him. The girl didn't speak, instead she ran towards her father before raising her hands towards him, asking to be picked up. Lifting her up, he settled her on his lap and started to caress her soft blonde hair out of habit.
"Daddy…" called the little girl as she cuddled the little bear in her arms
"Hm, what's wrong?"
"I saw mommy in my dream" Slightly startled by her words, his hand stopped for a moment from caressing her hair, this is the first time his daughter opened up with him, recovering from it he restarted as he snuggled her closer
"What did mommy say to you?"
"Mommy said Hinari's beautiful and she said she loves me so much, you too daddy!"
"Of course, Hinari's beautiful and daddy loves mommy so much too. The same goes with Hinari right?"
"Right! But if mommy loves daddy and Hinari so much why can't we be with her?" His face saddened a bit from her remarks as he stopped his hands from caressing her hair and instead, he turned his daughter towards him and kissed her forehead
"We can't be with mommy this moment because she has a very important mission from heaven, and it might take a lot and lot of time"
"Aren't we the very important for her?"
"We are the very important for her of course, but she has no choice but to do it" He patiently explained
"Hmm… ok… daddy may I sleep with you?" She asked on the verge of falling asleep
"Yup" Settling the bed he tucked her up before lying beside her
'Harue… our daughter grew quiet fast already, when are you going to enter my dream too? I miss you so much…'
