Ayana-
I froze under their states not knowing what to say or do.
And I didn't have to. Sarah walked up to me pointing an accusing finger at me. "You...just....the water, the ice....How?"
Her words came out strangled but I knew her question. I had been asking the same one.
Lily didn't say anything just stared openly at my hands then my eyes then back to my hands again.
I put them up and watch as they flinched, I dropped them quickly not wanting to scare them. I didn't want them to think I would hurt them.
I didn't have an explanation, when I didn't know the answer my self.
I took a deep breath facing both of them, "There no reason to freak out, okay."
I lifted my hand slowly making snowflakes appear swirling above my hand, it was getting easier to do that.
I looked at the girls seeing their eyes widen some more, "Ever since the explosion I've been able to do this, I don't know how but I just can. Me and Tristain are trying to figure it out too so just bare with me."
I see then slowly nods calming down just a little.
Sarah's head tilts a little, "Tristain know about this?"
I nod, "He was the first person."
Her confused face turns into a knowing smirk, "So you must be spending a lot of time together then."
My hand immediately drops remembering the kiss we shared last night. My cheeks heated making me slightly uncomfortable. I like the cold much better.
I ignore Sarah's piercing gaze and look at the melted water on the floor. With one flick of a finger it quickly disappears leaving nothing.
I sigh running a hand through my white hair, "You know you guys can't tell John about this."
Lily steps forward, "Why not?"
I furrow my eyebrows, "Because if you did he would ask questions I can't answer and we're already on a mission and I also don't exactly trust him completely."
I didn't. He was always running off when in the night. Every time we went to out rooms for bed I could distantly hear the front door open and the car of an engine starting. I'm surprised no else had. He was leaving more these days and I was getting suspicious.
"Well what about Alex and Taylor?"
I turn to Lily smiling a little.
"You can tell them but make sure they say nothing to John, okay?" She nods happily.
I sit on my bed looking out the window, the sun was out but I still had a craving to go the cold forest. Some thing was really calling me.
I turn to the girls, "Hey how about we take a trip to the forest later?"
"Why," they both ask at the same time.
I smirk, "I'm in the mood for some fun."
