A week after their visit to city *****, Jazz and Jin finally got contacted by Lexi's agency.
"So that leaves us at least a week to learn more about the drama's production." Jazz held a thick folder containing the drama's script as well as Lexi's costume designs and desired looks.
"Well, this should be easy..." Being the make-up artist she must perfectly match the make-up to the drama's setting and theme as well as the actress costumes.
Jin on the other hand only needs to familiarize herself with Lexi's schedule and routine, easier said than done who would have known that despite being a rookie in the entertainment industry Lexi would have a tight schedule comparable to a veteran actress.
They are set to meet the said actress in two days for contract signing and for an official introduction before they start the filming.
Reading through the files they did not notice the time until Jaden arrived home interrupting them.
"What are you two doing this late in the evening?"
Jazz looked puzzled and look at the old grandfather's clock that just hit midnight. "We lost track of time."
"What are you two reading anyway?" Jaden ask then tiredly throws himself at the couch.
"Lexi's drama script. I'm halfway through it and it's quite interesting, no wonder it is highly anticipated. I say it's worth the hype, also you wouldn't believe who the second female lead is." Jazz grinned closing the script.
"Who?" Jake suddenly emerges from the kitchen, a handful of chips on his arms.
"Francheska Sandford..." Jazz answered with a full grin.
"Seriously? I'm gonna kill Julian..." Jin couldn't help but grunt remembering the motorcycle incident they had with the said person.
The twins chuckled at her.
"What are those anyway?" Jaden pointed at the series of files and folders in front of Jin.
"Some schedules, routine and crap. I really don't understand why this woman would prefer working in the entertainment industry when she's an heir to a multi-billion company."
"Who knows, she's at an acting academy so she might really have the passion for acting." Jaden reason out.
"Well I must say that's one heck of a passion then, I mean just look at her schedule, it is absolutely ridiculous." Jin throws the said schedule at the coffee table clearly done at it for the night.
"You're home, got the result already?" Julian suddenly showed up startling the four.
"Oh right, I haven't really had the time to check it myself." Jaden lazily collected the said result from his bag, totally forgetting about it. After handing it to his cousin, he slumps back his self on the sofa.
"Toxic day?" Jazz asks her brother knowing how the hospital can be on a hectic day.
"Yeah, I barely have time to eat..." Jaden couldn't help but whine.
"You're working at one of the largest hospitals in the country after all." Jin pointed out though she couldn't help but pity her cousins obvious exhaustion.
"You sure you're not overworking yourself again?" Julian asked and is about to pull the paper out of the envelope when Jake jumped at him.
"I've worked 15 hours today and is set for a 12 hours shift tomorrow so I'm still within the bell commission law's mandated working hours." The latter assured them.
"Mmmh, it's positive she's indeed Madame Camilla's granddaughter." Jake later announced after reading through the result of the DNA test.
"Guess this means you've finally completed her request, after what... 3 years?" Jaden muttered with eyes shut.
"3 years and 6 months to be exact..."
"How are you going to inform her daughter's death and grandchildren's current predicament?" Jake finally handed the DNA result back to Julian.
"I don't plan on telling her... yet." Julian stated making the four of them wonder at this decision of his.
"Why?" Jin was the one who asked the silent question.
"She is dealing with something important right now, delivering this news might distract her, besides her task is quite dangerous it won't do them any good if she reconciles with her grandchildren now."
"I don't even want to know what she's dealing with right now." Jazz shudder just remembering how dangerous the things that the old woman usually deals with.
"How are you going to deal with Yesha and her brother then?" Jaden asks reading the latest update of the doctor assigned to the said lady.
Upon their return to the capitol, they immediately inform Julian about their encounter and he did not waste time in having someone investigate the lady's background.
"You can't allow her grandparents to marry her off or else Madame Camilla will come after your head." Jake pointed out.
Julian smirk, not bother about it at all. "That's taken care of already, besides Yesha have someone aside from us who is looking after her. Let's see how far her grandparent could go."
This information got the attention of the rest.
"Who?" They all ask at once.
"I'll inform you once I've confirmed the person's identity." With this, they didn't pry further knowing that if Julian is still not certain about the person's identity then it only means that it is definitely someone who is high profile.
"In the meantime, you four don't have to worry as I've already assigned some people to look after the siblings. They'll be safe, focus more on your own tasks..." Julian assured them then paused while playing with a black Go stone piece.
Seeing him like this makes the four of them a bit unsettled. Julian might look angelic but behind this well-crafted mask is a psychopath, a plain incarnation of the devil and once he started to play Go, it only means that a great war is brewing.
"It's already late, those file can wait until tomorrow, better rest." Julian eyed the two ladies "...same goes with the two of you." He also gave the twin a meaningful glance before ascending the stairs.
"That's a Go piece he is playing with earlier right?" Jaden wanted to confirm.
Jazz nod in agreement. "A black one to be precise."
Jakes whistle heavily, "Good luck to whoever he is planning to wage war with."
They all shuddered at the thought of full devil Julian mode in front of a Go board.
"I don't like how things are turning out now that we're back in this country." Jin signed which the three agreed wholeheartedly.
