Once everyone is settled down they dive directly to business.
"Based on what Jazz and Jin have said, it may seem that the Johnson's is part of the High Monarch." The old man started.
"I asked H to look further into them through the mercenary data base but as expected their information is already highly encrypted. Of course we could try to decode it but doing so will raise an alert to whichever clan they belong to. I don't wanna cause any unnecessary suspicion from the other clans, especially with the situation these days." Their grandfather continued.
The mercenary data base contains a vast network of information but not anyone could afford to search through the information they have.
"What we know for sure though is that they were fairly new to the organization. The question now is which clan are they under." Nathe stated further. When they first conducted an investigation against the Johnsons the data they obtained from the mercenary isn't encrypted and fairly normal, but things changed and now they could only try to guess.
Families under the main clans, especially the new ones, are usually unknown for months or sometimes even years to the rest of the clans under the High Monarch. This is for their own protection and the majority of the families also prefer to stay private and low profile.
"Hard to tell as they both have business here and at the Western Continent so either they're under the Wolf clan or the Dragon clan." Isaic answered.
The High Monarch is a brotherhood formulated exclusively for the S class elites. It started simply to draw a clear line between the lower and upper echelon of the elites, but as years pass by with politics taking over the upper echelon and with the increasing number of mafias, syndicates and illegal or underground dealings that greatly affects the society and threatens the safety of the elites they have decided to step up and do things that the authorities couldn't do afraid of the retaliation that they might receive from those increasing number of self-declared underground lords and other new money families.
One might say that the High Monarch is a brotherhood that could be considered as a part of the underground community as well but is far more sophisticated and dignified. They don't deal with drugs, prostitution, human trafficking or any other illegal affair except maybe from the weapon import and exports as well as killings but that's explainable.
It is composed of five main family clans and each main family clan are families that could be traced down through history going as far back as a century.
They have their own main territory to look after and they have their own symbol which could be used only by families or individuals who are under their protection.
"Dad, do you think it's still wise for the children to continue with their undercover? Won't this violate one of the organizations' decree?" Hanna worried about the potential trouble that could rise if the organization will know about the undercover acts they are doing within the other clan.
All organizations have multiple rules and regulations and the high monarch is no exception. Just like the bible has the 12 commandments they also have 12 decree and violating one is considered to be a grave sin which may cause your whole family or even the whole clan's life.
"Not necessarily, the decree mentioned about not directly causing any harm to a family that is officially under the other clan unless attacked first so since we're merely trying to collect information through the Johnson's there should be no problem about it." Selene pointed out.
"Selene is correct, that is why you four should be extra careful on your actions, especially Jazz and Jin. I'm sure Lexi have alerted someone on their clan already, maybe even their clan head might have heard of it by now so for sure they must be investigating the two of you already so take extra precautions. Jaden is safe as he is not directly involved but I have to warn you to be careful as well."
The five of them all acknowledged their grandfather's warning.
"I think the Johnson's are under the Dragon clan." Jake suddenly announced remembering something.
"Ellison's clan? Why do you say so? Did you find something?" Dr. Isaic asked his son.
"Not necessarily something but someone, at first I didn't really pay much attention to him but he is always and I mean always around Mr. Johnson, I think he might be part of Ellison's four horsemen."
"I think you are referring to Ross." Julian spoke.
"You know him?" The old man asked his grandchild.
"I've met him from the few meetings I'd had with Mr. Johnson, I accidentally saw his mark once."
Five clans, five symbols all represented by a certain mighty creature, Dragon, Serpent, Wolf, Fox and lastly Phoenix where the Rhodes clan belong.
"I'm guessing he's Old Red." Julian added.
"Wait, you mean THE Old Red, the rank 1 with the highest kills in the assassin league, who is also one of the four horsemen of the Dragon Clan?" Jake couldn't believe he actually came face to face with such a legend.
Julian nodded at this.
"Damn..." Jake couldn't believe his luck.
There are three circles that made up hierarchy of the High Monarch.
The first circle is the Pentagon, which is the head of each main clans. Under them are their two main supports that compose the second circle referred to as the Knight Council and lastly each family clan has four horsemen composing the third circle which is known as the 10th Circle of Hell.
