Chapter 9 - Just Who Exactly Was This Boss Guy?

When Alisha heard her full name, she froze for a moment. But the next moment she regained her composure and turned around. "Hehe Mister, I think you have been mistaken. My name isn't Alisha. You have come looking for the wrong person I guess."

While speaking such white lie, even though she looked calm on the surface, her heart was palpitating from the fear inside. It beat so fast that she could hear her own heartbeat in her ears.

The men exchanged a confused look amongst themselves before the leader with a handlebar mustache asked again. "What is your name then?"

"I am Al— Alka, my name is Alka." She heaved a sigh of relief because she was about to blabber her real name. She knew she wouldn't be able to fight with so many of them so she had to look for some other way to escape from this situation.

The leader looked closely at her face to make sure if she was not trying to fool them. Alisha kept her calm and looked back at him to not increase his suspicion further, which somewhat did help in convincing him to an extent.

He turned to his underlings to check if they had they had the right information. "Where are the papers that had the girl's details again?"

When he turned around, averting his gaze from the girl who needed nothing more than some time to run away, Alisha took the opportunity and without caring about her scraped leg, ran to her scooty. She turned it on and rode for her dear life without looking back for even once.

"Boss, the girl ran away!" One of the underlings shouted when they heard the sound of the engine roaring.

Alisha had barely ridden for a few meters when her scooty abruptly stopped with a loud bang like sound. She tried restarting it, but it didn't. "F*ck!" She cursed as she slapped the handle cover out of anger.

She turned around and saw that the men have already caught up with her and running would be of no use so she finally surrendered, leaving her fate on the few Gods that she knew out of the thirty-three million Gods and Godesses[1]. "Save me Shiv Ji[2]," she murmured under her breath before leaving her dear life on fate.

The leader of the group approached her followed by his lackeys. As soon as they got close to her, the leader lifted his hand to reveal a gun with a silencer placed on its muzzle. Alisha's throat ran dry seeing the gun again. She gulped out of fear but didn't show it on her face.

It was the second time she was being blackmailed at the gunpoint in just a matter of three days. What the hell was happening?!

"We know you are Alisha Agrawal, so if you value your life, then I would advise you to obediently come with us to see our boss. It has only been the tire of your scooty now, if you don't follow us obediently, the next bullet will go right past your forehead."

"Who is your boss?" Alisha asked with scrunched brows. She really wanted to curse because they shot the tire of her scooty but chose to keep her mouth shut for the time being.

"You will know once you meet him. Don't waste any more of our time and come with us." The leader said yanking her roughly by her arm and pushing her towards their cars.

"I can walk by myself, don't push please." To her surprise, the men even agreed and let her walk on her own with them walking closely behind her to prevent her from running again.

The group reached to the row of cars that were all parked one after the other and Alisha was made to sit in the first one, the model of which she didn't know.

She sat in the middle with two men sitting on each side of her, one of them being the leader of the gang.

Alisha had no idea where they were taking her until she felt the route they were on was somewhat familiar. If her assumption was right, they were taking her to the same hospital she had dropped the two men to, the other night.

And her assumption was proved further correct when the fleet of cars entered the doors of the same hospital. Alisha felt her blood boiling when she realized that she was abducted again by the same people.

She didn't care about the boss earlier, but now even she wanted to meet him and smack his head to teach him some courtesy. What if he was injured, he needed to be beaten up black and blue for abducting people without any reason.

The cars stopped and the door to the car in which Alisha sat was opened, by a lackey and the leader stepped down first. Alisha followed him and the second man got out from the other door.

Alisha felt quite surprised when she reached the 7th floor, probably on which that boss guy was assigned a room. The floor was dead silent, except for the sound of her shoes clicking, no other sound could be heard. It was not just sound, but not even a single soul was present in the corridor of the lifts, which was a bit strange because this hospital was always filled with visitors and nurses running around and waiting for lifts to arrive to commute to other floors.

After stepping out of the corridor in which the lifts operated, she felt even more amused when she saw that the entire floor was covered with men wearing black suits, a Bluetooth earpiece in all of their ears and if one looked closely, they would realize that the men had pistols in their suit jacket too.

'Just who exactly was this boss guy?' thought Alisha to herself. Even if she didn't know him, she could tell that he was someone very important to have so much security around him.
