Chapter 8 - Chapter 8

Sarah lived in a Town in New Zealand_ Sahara Town.

But in this town everyone didn't know everyone because the town was the centre of technology, it could be called a city.

The crime facility was strong and the professionals good. In fact the town had the best university in the whole of the continent and the best professionals. The lawyers in the city were always top on the list of best lawyers.

And the fifth most wealthy man in the city, Mr Montenegro was a man of this town.

New Zealand was for the rich and Sarah had her fair share of rich admirers in fact she had more than her fair share.

Sarah was a petite woman of about 5'ft 5 inches tall. She defied the saying blondes are dumb. She was blonde but a very smart one.

She was sweet, beautiful and lovely. Having come out one of the best in business school she was offered a job immediately after graduation to work for the new Zealand government bank.

The bank was controlled by the governors son Humberto. He was the play boy of the town. Tall dark and handsome In every sense of the word.

His eyes were the brightest blue and his hair the darkest black. That's how the women who were head over heels described him and they were a lot of them. There was a saying in the town that everyone loved Humberto Michaelson. The European charmer.

And there was another saying which goes that 'everyone feared Felix Montenegro" the

cold hearted billionaire.

In fact he had rejected more girls that any man in the whole of Sahara Town and even New Zealand. Soon enough women stopped to pine after him. What use was there in being rejected every time they threw themselves at him.

There was not the type of woman he liked, neither men. People began to think of him as in human. He had no dating record or marriage record in fact the only thing people knew about him was that he was a billionaire.

Unlike Humberto, Felix rarely had scandals except when crazy women accused him of having impregnated them once in a while.

He usually doesn't even come out to diffuse the gossip, the media outlets discover the truth on their own and then they unspread the gossip that they had spread in the first place. He was that secluded. The only person that was close to him was his secretary as people rumoured. His secretary was an old woman in her late forties.

People even started to think that they were lovers, that he liked them old and wrinkling.

Sarah did not concern herself with gossip but she inevitably had to hear them anytime she went for a girls night out.

When Sarah started working in the bank as one of the members of the admin block specially situated in the customer care service all eyes were on her. She blew everyone's mind away. She was smart and so nice people doubted her reality. Men and women liked her and both genders showed her equal admiration. The religious ones would liken her to Sarah in the Bible.

The customers she attended to were her biggest fans and they were always very very satisfied after they had consulted with her. The only unsatisfied ones were the men who asked her out and received a Kind no as an answer. It was like she was a robot that was tuned into giving no as an answer whenever she was asked out by a man.

She did give her numbers out though because she loved to chat and keep up with people. She was sometimes a bubbly extrovert when she was not a rude introvert.

While she chatted with men on a friendly basis she loved it when they remained respectful of her wishes. As a man once you began to go sexual she was sure to block you.

Her friends had gotten tired of preaching to her to accept men because she never listened and she was very stubborn.

Maja had told her countless times how important it was to have sex in a relationship in this present time for it to work. After all if your relationship doesn't work then you can't get married. And if you don't have sex your relationship cannot work. Tit for tat!

Sarah would usually wonder what faith awaited a virgin like her who wanted to keep herself until marriage.
