Adriana was about to shout at him but quickly retracted . She thought for sometime about how Sebastian acted when she was teasing him and this person acts like he was her boyfriend .
What she learned from Sebastian and people around her is that she never had any boyfriend which means that she was in a secret affair with him . 'One thing is confirmed that this person won't harm me for the time being and that he can help me know about my past better than anyone'.
Adriana asked him with teary eyes and pitiful look on her face which surely can make any one feel sympathetic , "I trust you and I can feel your sincerity and love for me. And for time being even if I believe you that you are my boyfriend then why do they say that I never had any boyfriend. I can't trust anyone without my memories . Who is saying the truth or Who is trying to mess with me, I can't really understand. "
" Listen adri, I'm Carlos your boyfriend and I won't hide anything from you. The truth is that your father is against your marriage with anyone but Sebastian. You ended up like this because you were flying for paris to see me . You wanted to stop me..."

" From...from breaking up with you. But I didn't really meant to end our relationship . I was just angry or rather jealous. So I said all that in spur of moment, please forgive me " ,there was a tint of pain in his voice.
"Hey, if you have time to apologize then you did better help me to remember what happened. Do you get this? " Adriana tried to lift the atmosphere. "So why do you wanted to break up?" .
"I didn't wanted to but I wasn't able to control my anger seeing you exchanging rings with any other man". We kept our relationship a secret because of your father . You said that once you'll deal with Sebastian then we can live without any worries."
"Do you remember how we met ? Do you know who Marilyn is? ", Carlos thought that she may have recalled something but the look on Adriana's face told him that she really has forgotten everything . Even the first time when he met her. Before she could ask he answered his own questions , "Marilyn is your best friend and she's the only one who knows about us and supports this relationship. The first time we met was when she brought you to a amusement park ".
Carlos kept talking about the things she did together with him and how Marilyn helped them to meet. It was almost dawn . To quiet her curiosity Adrian asked Carlos that why in the world did she agreed to marry Sebastian if she loved him and if it was only about her father then they could have ran from home.
Carlos explained that she didn't wanted to leave her father as he's the only person who loves and spoils her after her mother had left her. "And about Sebastian"..., his tone always changed whenever he's talking about Sebastian, "You planned to marry Sebastian because of the contract between you and him ."
"And what does the contract is about ?" Adriana asked Carlos as if she was discussing about someone else's life.
Carlos replied to Adriana without questioning her any further, "I don't know much about this contract . But you once informed me that the contract mentioned something about you living with Sebastian for three years after marriage.
You both will have to act like a couple in public for three years and You were planning to go and settle in Greece with me after the contract terminates . As soon as the contract terminates you and I will marry and make our relationship public."
Even after listening to everything that Carlos told her , she wanted to ask that why would she do this. Seeing the confused look on her face Carlos immediately explained to her , " Adri whatever you did was for us to be together. It's all because I was so selfish and never wanted to leave the football team. I thought playing football was my life until this incident happened. And now I understand that I don't want to spend my life with the football but you".
Someone knocked on the door and the nurse entered in the room with a syringe in her hand, " Ma'm it's time for your morning dose". Her eyes were fix on my face. Then she asked, "Did you slept well." she was glaring at Carlos. 'May be my face's looking sleep deprived.'
Carlos left saying that if I want to meet him then I can look for him through Marilyn .
Later I was discharged from the hospital . When I reached home I saw a man lying on the bed with the world's high class facilities at his foot but he was lying there bedridden. He was my father .
