Chapter 12 - Chapter 11

"Did you really think you could keep us at bay for long? You know what happens next, weakling."

See what I mean? Super annoying. I've learned to ignore them most of the time, though sometimes they can be useful.

"Us?!? Annoying?!? That's it? Seriously?!? We try very hard to distract you, and all we get is 'annoying' stupid simple human."

I ignored the stupid things once again. Usually, they can strike a nerve if they try, or flare up my PTSD, and then take control. That's why I've been actively trying to ignore them. Usually Raven can make me feel better, because she knows me so well. She knows what will make me feel better. She know what to say, and what not to say.

"HEY! HEY! HEY! STOP IGNORING US CRYSTAL!"

Do you ever shut up? I'm obviously not listening.

"You're rude. Ignoring your demons is rude."

I met out a groan of frustration. Of course the voices couldn't leave me alone.

Ayro glanced at me with a strange expression on his face. A mix of confusion and some other emotion. Maybe pity.

When I saw the tents, logic suddenly came to mind.

"Isn't it going to take forever to put these up?" I asked, annoyance showing in my voice. I didn't want to put up a tent, only to take it down in the morning.

Ayro grinned at me. "No, these are the kind that are really easy to put up and take down," He responded.

To show me how easy it was, he took the tent out of its casing. He unfolded it, and it popped up.

"Surprisingly easy," Raven said, copying the action.

In just a few short minutes, all the tents were up and everyone was in their sleeping bags.

I heard a little bit of a commotion coming from James and Alex's tent.

"Could you not... Hey! Hands off!" I heard Alex whisper yell.

"They're so gay for each other."

I rolled my eyes, and Ayro shot me a concerned look.

"What?"

"You rolled your eyes."

"No, I didn't."

"Yes, you did, don't lie."

I rolled my eyes again. He just pouted and turned around in his sleeping bag.

"Goodnight," I whispered.

He probably heard me and didn't respond. Or my voice was quieter than I thought.

After a few seconds, I heard him say goodnight to me.

All if a sudden, I wasn't tired anymore. I heard the tent door zip open, and a hand grabbed me and pulled me out side.

"WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled, hoping that someone would wake up, and rescue me from the person dragging me through the woods.

"What are you doing! Let go!"

"Hush! If you speak too loudly, they'll find you!" Someone whisper yelled.

I just realised that it was light out, and the person tightly grasping my hand was a girl with long flowing hair.

"Who are you?" I questioned quietly, trying to pull my arm out if her incredibly strong grasp.

"I'm Aura. I'm not kidnapping you, I'm just visiting your dreams. This isn't actually happening,"

I glanced at her, a bit confused.

"I'm dreaming?"

"Yes. And if you don't wake up soon, my people will slaughter you all for entering the forest," She responded.

"How do I know if you're real?"

She huffed in annoyance. "You'll just have to trust me. If you don't wake up your friends and leave this forest, you'll all be dead by supper."
