Chapter 2 - 1.2 - My hobby is taking pictures.

08/14/08

'How swift the wind blows.' An impression I had as the trees swing by from the sudden gust of wind. My second year in college didn't start well; in fact, it was rather nonsense the classes weren't gonna start until October. However, we were allotted a month of self-study as far as the homeroom teacher says.

I was admiring the scenery while letting the wind stroke my hair. "Haa!" A clear voice covered me.

"...! It was just you Anna," I replied without noticing that we are already what you call best friends. I didn't bother reacting about how she kind of startled me back there.

"Don't give me that. What a grim answer to be honest." Her smile suddenly vanished into thin air. She sat beside me without pestering the birds atop the tree.

"Aren't you supposed to be somewhere?" Without minding her I stretched my hand to grab the camera on my left side sitting in the cold stone to look at the photos I took yesterday.

"That was supposed to be the case...

"Never mind about that, you sure love taking pictures." She glanced over to look at the photos.

"Oh, you're getting better at taking pictures. Why don't you try entering a contest?" She asked as she reacted to every photo as the pictures slide.

"It's just a hobby I don't need to enter a contest. By the way, you haven't answered my question yet." I put the camera into the bag so she wouldn't dodge the question.

"Well, my boyfriend was with someone else... So I thought not going after all. I mean who knows what will happen right?" She smiled as if it wasn't her problem.

Anna...

"Where is that degenerate? He needs some beating." I get up and firmed my resolve.

"Hey, you don't need to go that far. It's fine it's better now than later anyways." She looked worried and observing her I already knew she's just holding it in.

"Haaah... Fine, where do you want to go, Anna? Just leave that idiot he doesn't deserve you anyway." I refrain from causing trouble for her. I should prioritize cheering Anna up.

"Are you sure? Because I won't hold back." She said worriedly. What can I even do?

"Yep, I don't have anything better to do today anyway." So as I said nothing better to do.

Today and so on...
